How does FF X-2 compare to FF X

FFX-2 presented a unique opportunity to build and add to the storyline from the FFX. it was a new concept in terms of FF games and could have been a great addition to FFX. The theory is great: a game that stands as a good game on its own, but is even better because it further progressed on a previous game. however, i feel it failed. there wasnt enough emphasis on what happens between tidus and yuna. there should have been a more concrete storyline with more concrete happenings.

i prefer ffx over ffx-2, ffx had the original story line and was great, and i got 98& for ffx-2 so i was prety angry with that

I can't see how anybody enjoyed FFX-2 at all, much less more than FFX. The only redeeming value of the game was watching three hot girls run around doing various things, and frankly, softcore porn delivers more satisfying material to that end, and includes alot less of people with annoying haircuts and accents constantly asking for a dance.
The real-time battle system might have worked, but there were several things terribly wrong with it. The most prominent of these is how every time I try to use a freaking potion, some enemy attacks me and resets the action, which happens at least 3 times per potion use. Other problems were there as well, but I could argue against the game based comnpletely off the difficulty of using items.
FFX was a pretty good game. The entire FF series has been slowly deteriorating since FF VII anyway, but FFX wasn't all that bad. X-2 makes baby Jesus cry every day, however. I don't see how you can actually compare the two.

ok I will keep this short I like ff-x2 more then ff-x because I do not have the patence to do the sphere grid and I s Exclamation

ck at ff-x (I hate blits ball I hate it so much) and i could not beat the chocobo eating monster(soo angrey now Evil or Very Mad

) but in ff-x2 I know how to plan out lv and geting skills (look I can do some thing right in a game with ff in the name) Smile

Both has each plus & minus. FF X I love the sphere grid, the story, but it's too short, and battle system's so monotonous. FF X2, the dress sphere system is incredibly innovative. However, it lacks on storyline.

I really liked the sphere grid AND dress spheres but on the merit of story/plot/staying factor I cannot even give X-2 a mediocre rating without bias...

X-2 almost really made me weep.... When I played the game all I thought to myself(THE SHAME THE SHAME!!!!!!!!!WHAT HAVE THEY DONE!!!!WHAT HAVE THEY DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and the rest was sheer embarresment due to the music. I played over half of the time with my TV muted so I could either avoid embarressment from my family or headaches from the frightning noises it made called music...

Although I did not mind 1000 words one bit. That I liked.... To good not to like Smile

And to get the TRUE ending for X-2 you have to get 100% complete in ONE GAME not multiple games like they make you think but you have to do it all in ONE GAME. Sure you can play multiple games and add up that percentage till it gets to 100% and you feel happy but you still wont get the GOOD ending that everyone wants.

That means you have to beat that annoying A$$ via infinito and its crazy double boss at the bottom that is like god on steroids...

But I digress, this is raising my blood pressure so I will stop here.

I loved FFX and HATED FFX-2, i couldnt even stand enough of it to complete the game and gave up after like 7hrs of playing... i hated the new fighting system and i didnt like the story much

ff X-2 sucked, badly, it mostly was eye candy for the guy gamers, having the main characters nothin but girls in revealing outfits, and that was the only good thing about it

omfg....ffx-2 was such a disappointment...i liked the fact that there were chain attacks and how there were multiple endings...but i thought the job classes were useless and the grids as well...even though ffx was more like a movie than a video game i thought it was way better than ffx-2 which is more like a chick-flick game.

FFX-2 sucks....because it got no fit storyline and you can go to wherever u want. Futhermore the mission is like what?...crap...And only using 3 characters all the time and changing their cloth all the time..geez...give me a break. Well...I like FFX than FFX-2 even though the ending was a bit sad. Mad

FFX-2 should have been called Final Fantasy; the Fashion Show. The changing of the dress spheres reminded me of something from Sailor Moon. FFX was a much better game, but I still hate the ending.
