I suggest people should read the manga ver. It's better than the anime...

As soon as I find the manga, I'll be sure to read it. In the meantime, I think this anime is VERY good and Ren is now one of my favorite anime characters. The characters are really funny and the storyline is deep. I love the theme song and ending song as well!

I felt so sorry for Ren at the end of episode 2... Anyone else?

I agree with you with that. I used to say that I wanted a christmas (see: kurau: phantom memory) but now I want a ren more. *cough*

the only problem I see with this series is that the characters seem a little generic. You've got coud (that's his name right?), your regular hero, starts off cocky, dark deep past behind him, destined for greatness, etc.
but then again, it's pretty much like that with any series, so that's nothing too bad.

I couldn't get my hands on ep2 from the torrents either, I had to have a friend send me it. and she got it from another friend... and beyond that I don't know.

so yeah.

Ep 2 torrent works fine for me.

Like all the characters introduced in ep 1. All seem to have their distinct characteristics.

Though at the moment Coud needs a knock on his head for having said what he did abt Ren that he now has a good weapon to fight with.

Ren is the most mysterious of all.

I mean she is a weapon and all but she seems to keep getting kidnapped with ease. Errr.... doesn't she have any self defense mechanism?

I guess that is why she hated human... Becoz all other humans considered as a weapon, but Coud thought otherwise...

Besides the fact that Ren easily gets kidnapped, it's so hard to compare her to many other anime characters. She hardly speaks and does anything, yet, her little actions she does do speak 100 words. She's beautiful and mysterious and that's why she's definetely top hit on my favorite anime characters.

Yeah, I kinda figured that's why she doesn't like humans either. It seems like she has a huge crush on Coud and he is so stupid for just not admitting that he has feelings for her too!

looks like a kiddy show... with a kind of beaten-to-death plot (but than again its kind of hard not to be cliche in anime now a days)

but i have to say its a solid series.... and even kind of funny...

i'm just not going to take it too seriously

Yes, I agree that is why Ren probably does not like humans but that itself is a story to be told (or at least I hope).

pretty interesting so far. i'd say it's not at par with other shows from what i've seen so far, but it may get there.

i enjoy the humor in this show. not particularly witty but struck my funny bone anyway. i don't like coud... not yet at least. he's nothing special. however, ren is indeed an awesome character... too bad she hates humans Crying or Very sad

she's very "kawaii" too haha Wink

If anything, I would say that the only thing holding on to this series for the moment is the hilarious antics of Cisqua, Rowen and Kuea.

Yep, I watched episode 3 already. Kuea munching on Rowen and his reaction to that was just too funny Laughing

Cisqua with her "muhahaha"-like reactions still makes me sit up to that.
