Anyway, this is pretty much unwarranted thread necromancy. to lock or not to lock?

That's why some people make a big deal out of them; in Japan people think that your personality, luck, and interests are related to blood type. Some authors include them to flesh out characters, as some people think that knowing blood tpies might be relevant to understanding the character.
