Futakoi: Alternative Synopsis and Reviews on Anime-Source
hmm, i never thought it would be some kinda weird action comedy, but nevertheless, it still seems better than its futakoi predecessor. the animation in this one is way better too. its hard to tell how this is gonna turn out, but thus far, its really interesting.
and damn futaba rentarou, i so envy him... a 21 year old with a pair of cute 15 year old twins that adore you and think that ur more precious than life itself....lucky bastard. _________________

Enjoyable show and very reminiscent of a certain person's style ( the show's general manager is someone hiding behind a pen-name and I am guessing his nickname starts with N! )
Lulu-chan and Lala-chan's battle aboard the EWAC Wacky all the way.
Just wondering if this will be the general trend of the series ( if the general manager is Nxxxxxxx, it should be! ) or we will have those serious romance show with occasional hilarity... Nah |

haha first look at the title was thinking a romance story. However, staring at the openning theme all the way with confusion yeah the animation is much better for this one |

looks like the script writer for Futakoi was bashed and beaten to retarded levels of sanity then he wrote Futakoi Alternative. god i hate futakoi for their clichè ending (look its an accent i'm sophisticated!)
And by no means i hate this |

wow....just...wow...
This isn't really spoilerish, but anyways...
Just gotta say though...Rentarou's dad, or Nxxxxxxx, looks really weird with the hat on his afro. It's compacted or something, and doesn't quite look right. And the bed patting...that was wrong...just wrong...but still wow...wow...

this is awesome hahaha. omg talk about laughing my ass off. the fanservice isn't forced unlike other shows and damn the style reminds me of FLCL (same director? ), which i also enjoyed but not as much as this first episode.
there will always be room on my hd for more episodes of this anime |

Well I'm kind of surprised... I had watch the first few episode of Futakoi, it didn't really interrested me much...
But this new edition... Well, actions, comedy, lots of fan service... It's really different. Wait to judge, but it's different. |

| there is no need to watch the first one, unless you're interested in comparing/contrasting. I'd call futakoi alternative like the first futakoi, but on the highest quality most pure form of crack. From the very first episode you can tell the insane difference. |

cool, thanks for the quick response
(an hour later.....) okay, so I watched "Alternative." Beautiful artwork, great action, the music was fitting but not memorable. I love when they introduce the new characters by freezing and zooming in on the frame with the dichronomous color-tones, kinda Cowboy Bebop-esque in a way.
The ending animation was something new. Claymation, eh, I was waiting for Gumby and Pokey to make a cameo. _________________

Man I hate it, not of the animation or the story line or anything, it's a good anime... its just that i was really looking forward to the futakoi sequel, the lovey dovey stuff u kno...i was somewhat... really dissappointed, if they wanted to create a completely different story then they should atleast be un-lazy enough to create completely new characters... after i watched the first episode I was like... WHAT THE FU*K IS THIS... so yeah... _________________ [IMG:630:120:ffc1e5676f]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v167/toolowhobo/parassig.gif[/img:ffc1e5676f] |
