ionno.. why people hated it??
i LOVED IT SO MUCH.. that i dled the original.. which was good.. but i am REALLY looking foward to this series. =D

I thought the 2 girls at the beginning of episode 1 were pretty interesting. Lulu and Lala or somethin' like that. Hopefully the 3rd Futakoi show will feature them 2.

I have started to watch this and I have to say that it has a good start and I cant wait for eps 2.

I just finished watching episode 2 and it pains me to say that I found it to be quite uneventful. It was mostly flashbacks, but I guess the information it provided will be useful in understanding the remainder of the series.

It was hard to follow, however. In this episode, Rentarou said he was 16 years old 5 years ago, which would make him 21, but during the fight in episode 1, he exclaimed "Who knew I'd be boxing at age 18!?!" Also, maybe I'm messing this up, but it seems like he's saying that he's been running the detective agency by himself for over 2 years now, yet again in episode 1, Yamada Kankurou said his father died only 3 weeks ago. My only explanation is his dad's been retired in between, but I find that unlikely since he seemed to love it so much.

Oh wait, scratch what I said about him being either 21 or 18 because I went back to that dichronomous freeze-frame thing they do and he said he was 21 at the beginning of episode 1. So Shining FS must have made a mistake in translation during the boxing match.

Well, I still have high hopes for this series despite the lack of action in episode 2. Episode 1 was incredibly good (I watched it twice this morning even before episode 2 was released) and it seems like it's going to be hard to top. Hopefully they didn't start off with their best offer because I hope Futakoi Alternative only gets better from here on out.

if you watch closely during the flashback earlier in the episode... you will see during he was 18 he was already boxing... and also i got the AnY version for the first, and it was also translated that he started boxing with 18

ahahaa... i like the movie style of it though, but i gotta admit it is hard sometime to follow the timeline (5 yrs ago, 2 yrs ago, 3 hrs ago?!!) but it explains a lot of things, or maybe nothing at all Laughing

but i catch a glimpse in this and the last part of the first of some sweet love, maybe a part of the prev Futakoi?? i dont know, since i havent watched it...

Just watched episode 2 and I must agree that it was quite boring compared to the first episode. However I'm sure that they did this episode to show some character development. Dunno but just in case
In the end of the episode isn't that Lala and Lulu on top of the smoke chimney? I'm pretty sure it was.
