Is GANTZ evil?

Gantz is not evil. why?
because... he only summons people that go to hell (to be able to repay his debt to the world)
u can see that from the mass killing in shibuya, only few ppl being summoned to gantz. (that's why u see lots of mafia in gantz Razz

)
but.. there's a chance that maybe it just summons the strongest ppl...

well, that's my theory anyways

I have yet to understand his motives for anything evilly done (I have only read up to 189) and some of the things he does, I would totally understand why Kurono popped him, or tried to pop him in the head. But I also dont care too much, cause the blood is pretty nice.

no, gantz isn't evil. i don't think he really gets humans or human lives or the value of them, so he doesn't understand that he's doing soemthing wrong when he makes people fight the aliens. anyway, without him they'd be dead for sure anyway, at least now they have a chance to live. and, even if that wasn't true, gantz sends them to fight aliens who would kill a lot of other people and gives them suits and guns and stuff so they can win if they work hard enough and everything. maybe gantz isn't good, but he's not evil.

Gantz was infected by a computer virus while surfing the net. That explains his erratic behavour. Rolling Eyes

To be honest, people have discussed this issue for a long time but what i think is that Gantz chooses people with the highest probability in potential of survival and fighting in warfare. The gag gantzers such as the dog and panda are nothing more than "mascots" for the thing and trying to explain its survival is beyond us other than the author.
