| How about the ending to Spiral? I mean, I didn't know what I was thinking afterwards - it didn't feel like an ending at all, I'm sure they tried to make it that way, but it answered nothing! |

juuni kokki (12 kingdoms), that was a great anime but it got cut, if they just stoped a the end of the first season it would have been fine but no, they had to release 5 episodes form the second season and then stop making it

There's no guarantee that it's completely gone yet actually... The company that was doing it said that they got a little ahead of themselves and were starting to outpace their material. They didn't want to risk going the way of other shows that go beyond their basis, such as Rurouni Kenshin, so they decided to take a break. That break was then "extended" by the corporate industry because they weren't happy with the developers putting them on hold. But the show has a very large popularity, so I'm still hopeful that it'll be slotted back in eventually and will continue. Or perhaps the production company will start releasing it as OVA's, kind of like what Hunter x Hunter did when they got rejected by the tv companies. _________________ You can't hold no groove if you ain't got no pocket. |

| I'd say Ah! My Goddess! It's such a cute fun-loving anime. I just wished they had more episodes rather than manga. Watching it just plays out all the good stuff you have it your head especially with all the magic and stuff. |

^^ i heard that there is going to be a full tv series for Ah! My Goddess! - i think this fall it may come out. *Edit* heres the link - http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/article.php?id=5112
btw i seen this topic and i had to say something: Ranma 1/2 it was never given an ending at all, After watching 165 episodes - oavs - and movies i was disapointed in that. |

For me it would be ranma. After the first 2.5 seasons it began to waver. I believe it went on till season 7, but never ended. But after all the characters were introduced, the story stalled out. Nothing changed during the story anymore. Unlike the manga, which had a great and conclusive ending.
Oh, and though Escaflowne ended, it was rushed and not at all satisfying to me. And evangelion pretty much goes without saying, doesn't it. |

What are you talking about? BOTH Evangelion endings had an extreme amount of closure. Aside from that...how can you label it as unfinished? Some writers like to leave some stuff up to your imagination at the end. It's not like they were lazy or not able to finish it! And anyway, nothing was left up to the imagination in either Evangelion ending.
Something like Kare Kano on the other hand...not finished because they ran out of money. Ridiculous :\ I was so irritated by that. They shouldn't have reviewed in every single episode, instead they could have put some substantial stuff in the episodes XO
X. I mean the manga. CLAMP just dropped it. Right at the biggest cliffhanger in ANY of their mangas... *shakes fist* |

Video Girl Ai, I"s, and Ah! My Goddess. You don't make long manga into short OAV series. You just don't.
And Love Hina. They stopped two volumes short of the manga's ending, and it would be awesome to see those volumes animated... _________________

That's why I haven't watched Kare Kano yet, I know the anime itself is great but the ending is missing. That's what I hate the most, after bad endings, no endings at all.
Anyway I'd say a good example of rushed ending is GetBackers. The anime was great, except for the first half of the 2nd season that really made me wanna sleep. For those of you who have watched it, don't you think that it finished just when the relationship between Ban and Himiko was getting somewhere, and besides nothing was cleared about that thing with the "last children", Himiko and her bro? Not a word about it. I want them to make some OVA about it and finish it. And I don't want to see any more Akabane, they kinda overused him, please no more of him. |

I don't know if this is the original title but I believe DT Eightron is one of them. It has a good story although 50/50 on the art. The anime ended without revealing what happened to the rest of the cast. Although they were trying to convey that they all died, I still doubt it... |
