best anime that didn't finish??

Hellsing definitely didn't get the attention it deserved.

Big O actually did pretty well. The second season ending was pretty good (although it might have made you feel you've wasted the last few months of your life while you were watching it).

An ending that raises more questions than it answers is worse than no ending at all, imo...

Can't beleive I just saw this thread... I dunno if this was mentioend or not.. since i'm too lazy to look over the previous posts but here are the 2 series I wished were properly fished.

Gundam X
Kare Kano

Gundam X was victim of a phenomenon known as Neon Genesis Evangelion back in 1996 and was shortened to only a 38 episode run =(

Kare Kano shared a similar fate that infected Kenshin TV after the Kyoto Arc, that being they pulled away from the manga. Though this isnt always bad, (Prime example would be FMA, which is STILL good on TV =p) Not to mention
Anno left after a couple episodes in =(

then again both of these series I love, despite being flawed =p

hellsing definitely would have been better off sticking with the manga story arcs. they looked to be there at first, but right after they off the valentines (who were a joke even after their deaths), all literally goes to hell. one manga that up and died on us just when it was getting soooo good was Zombie Powder. anyone who's anyone knows that the author of Bleach did this one first, and it's a cryin' shame he stopped ZP period. bleach is good and fun, but ZP was awesome, like trigun with an acid trip. one last one that is due to have a sequel apparently is Full Metal Panic!, and no i don't mean Fumoffu. i'm speaking of Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid. trust me, while superior to the original series in so many ways, fumoffu does not bring closure to how FMP! ended.

Oh well there not that many series that don't, because some group will take the time to sub it sometime.

But right now im watching "Kingdom of Chaos", which is an OVA of 4 episodes but only 2 have been subbed, and all the group subbing it have stalled :/

Kare Kano: it's like "??" well, I was kinda getting lazy with it since it looks like the animators were getting lazy too. XO

Berserk: ok. THIS is annoying. They ended it where the really <explative>ed things were supposed to happen. well... that and they ended it before the start of the second part of the whole story.

Fruits Baskets: "??..!!!! hey!! what happened to the rest of the characters!!!" they never showed the rest of the souma family..

1.hajimeno ippo was a great anime as someone previously said already they did a few ova but it's a pity it didnt continue. The sound tracks were really cool too.
2.hellsing, we all thought there would be a second season of hellsing....
but now we're all waiting for next chap. of the manga...
3.hikaru no go, well the ending was kinda bad. i mean why not go till the very end and give some concrete conclusions?

I actually didnt mind hellsings ending... I dont want to be the odd ball here but it seemed like that was that and while it couldve gone on... where it ended was O.K. The anime i do wish to see more of is narutaru cause that series has a whole plot that the producers didnt even touch..

The following shows are good but the final episodes just left me wanting more.

Elfen Lied - The ending is rather open ended. A lot of speculation. Looking forward for them to continue it in the OVA. Hopefully it will be just as good as the TV series.

Twelve Kingdoms - Hopefully will continue with the orginally planned number of episodes.
