There isn’t any post for Rune soldier?? How can that be? Maybe its because I’m a hopeless anime/manga addict that likes anything that comes my way but anyhoo Rune Soldier ( I think the actual anime title is Rune Soldier Louis) is a bout a magician (whose rather inept) that wants to become an adventurer. In the meantime a priestess gets a divine message telling her that Louis is to be the Hero that she has to help. And then everything goes upside down in their normal daily lives =D

BTW: Does anyone have links for this series either manga or anime? I currently own most of the published mangas but for reference sake for those too poor to purchase it plz help?

I watched the 1st volume of the anime and I really liked it. The artwork isn't the best around but it's pretty good. The audio is pretty forgettable but everything else is in top shape! I just wish it weren't as "slow" as it is. Other than that, there's nothing to complain about.

Its actually called Mahou senshi Riui (Magical Soldier Riui). You probably might have more luck finding the series under that name. Its about 24 eps long and done by the studio that created Lodoss Wars.
Good comedy series I reckon.
