Ek...
I think Ginta's voice was similar to Naruto, are they voiced by same person? |
Ginta is voiced by Kumai Motoko.
Her list of work includes Kaoru in Flame of Recca, Li Shaoran in Card Captor Sakura, Papuwa in Papuwa and such. She has no relation to the Naruto series. |

| it has "made to sell toys/video game" and straight to fox box(uh, 4kids tv...whatever) written all over it..... compared to the other new shows in the same genre (specifically Eremanter Gerad) this one kind of blows..... |

| I don't think it's bad or anything, just because it isn't one of the most adult-themed series around doesn't mark it as a villian in my book. The story is pretty good but like someone said above, this had FoxBox(screw 4KidsTV! They don't realize how stupid they are and how stupid that name sounds! I hate everything about 4Kids! Them bitches! I bet they're patting themselves on the back over that stupid ass 4KidsTV creation) written all on it so far. |

I've skimmed through the first episode and the animation seems quite good. Thought that I should really catch this as I'm enjoying the manga series. For those who are lamenting over the kiddish nature of the show, I can assure that things will get more exciting.
Like Flame of Recca, MAR is meant to moved at a slow pace at the start, but evolve to exciting battles featuring a variety of powers and magic at the end. Read the 7th book and I'm so totally hooked. Hope the anime will catch up. =P |

well, I dont know if MäR was used to sell toys to kids and stuff... it is not a trading card game, nor was it a pokemon/digimon game...
oh well... like the others said, give this anime some time _________________ ... |

i actually picked the first volume of the manga first and d/l'd first ep after i got home that day. i personally love ginta's upbeat, headstrong, go-lucky attitude. it may just be my current disposition or sullen mood, but the first ep of this show really made me smile (couldn't help it with this kid running around his dream come true). didn't get too far into the manga, but if what previous posts have said is true, i'll also be looking forward to some deeper story elements. _________________
