| yeah that seems to be the problem with them, there overplayed. In moderation though they remain awsome. Also for those who have never been to an lp concert. The are amazing. If your into moshing then your really gold but if your not then they still blow you away. |

Don't forget they have the pilot/rights to produce the Eyeshield 21 TV anime, which is based on the Shounen Jump Comic about none other than American Football.
As for the Linkin Park part of this thread... I'm interested now to see the video but not all that curious about the song... |

LP... used to be my favorite band Junior-Senior in high school, before the radio raped them of their dignity. Hybrid Theory was an awesome debut album (technically not debut, but beh, first major release), and the songs blew me away with its beats and sound. Then they sold out and released Meteora (I don't care much about Reanimation... good, but not great), which sounded like a pathetic imitation of Hybrid Theory. The songs all sounded... the same. I know the excuse was so that it flowed nicely, but no one song stood out, and that's a tragedy. In the End and Crawlin made the first album stand out, but nothing on the second album did that. Beh.
I kind of liked Breaking the Habit, because it was the only song that tried something new on Meteora (Bennington solo), so I'll look forward to the premier. |

| and lets not forget all those ~wonderful~ anime music videos that were really nothing but an excuse to overplay the already worn out songs from the first album... It was like everyone and their dog was doing a LP anime vid... :P |

DaftPunk got some nice anime music videos.
I think its like 4 songs with anime in it, all is a 4 part story, pretty good I think
About LinkinPark...I dont like them, I dont dislike them, just not my music, though they have learned that anime music videos are cool and mostly good also _________________

While i can agree that anime music vids are cool, and Lp might like anime, I dont know if in general anime vids are cool. On one hand they are but on another there really has never been a pop hit video that has anime in it. Usually theres just scantilly clad women or crazy non-hetero backup dancers. Up until kill bill though i didnt think anime could ever even be in a mega sucsesful american movie but look where that is now. Anyway my point is, in the american pop market, an anime music video might not be whats gonna go over well so im keeping my eyes peeled for any sort of reaction. I personnaly like it and for what its worth thats all that really matters correct |

I completely forgot about this video. Will watch soon though..
As far as Linkin Park goes, I'd like to thank my lucky stars I don't listen to the radio. I love their music and I know that a lot of stations play their singles every 2 mins. Hybrid Theory remains to be my favorite album of all time. Meteora was a bit of a disappointment but after a couple weeks I loved it. I haven't been to a concert due to a lack of funds but I plan on going soon (just got a job )... |

I tried so hard
and got so far
but in the end
IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER!
Or something like that. Their music ability is decent, but the angsty lyrics? Argh. My opinion of course.
The music video is pretty cool, the lip synching seems a bit off though... or is that just me? _________________ Ask me a question, and I will answer to you with my fists of fury!1!1!!1!!!! |

| i had to break apart one of their songs for a modern music poetry assignment. Their lyrics are a bit... angsty as you said but if you take the time to listen or print out their lyrics they usually have a deeper meaning than the enjoyable screaming that comes out of the radio. |
