| i also agree that the naruto manga and anime transformation. however i personally like it when they dont follow the same storyline. it gives me 2 things to do instead of just one. |

Personally.... I think rating conversions should also take into considerations how well they kept the essence of the original manga.... i think dbz was terrible.... after i read the manga i felt the anime was a drag....
I think the best i watched so far is hikaru no go.... i wasn't a go player (got converted after watching it ) but it was really exciting throughout the whole manga.... the same with the anime eventhough i already knew the story, it managed to bring across the same level of interest, remained true to the characters personalities although storyline and certain events were changed a bit (kaga chews bubblegum instead of smoking).... watching the anime i was satisfied and felt it did justice to the manga.... |

full metal panic, sometimes the battles got really boring in the manga, also, they really expanded on the story in the anime. _________________ CAIN is MY whore. touch him and die.

I really liked Fruits Basket, it seems the anime follows the manga religiously. Cept it doesn't continue where the manga does.
Also I really liked Chobits, they did a pretty good job of following the manga too!! Plus the animation in Chobits is soo *ponder* hmm...pretty? |

Those episodes are called "fillers." Fillers are episodes that are made up and not a part of the manga storyline when the anime catches up too much to the manga and they want the manga to come out with more chapters and get farther ahead. _________________ I used to have something really witty to put here. Naruto, definitely. Like I said, except for the fillers, it's definitely the best transformation I have ever seen. They even keep the dialouge very similar if not the same!
Hmm, I didn't know the Evangelion anime was made before the manga! Never seen a case like that before, it's a little weird. _________________ I used to have something really witty to put here. Really. I did. |
