Scryed Reviews & Synopsis on Anime-Source

I saw scryed a few years back and have found that it is one series that no matter how many times i watch it i still love it. Kazuma is so straight forward and a bad *ss that you can help but like the guy. I will recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet and hopefully you enjoy it as much i did.

i haven't seen the anime, but i have read the manga and i really liked it. does anyone know if the anime closely follows the manga, or does it change the plot but still end up being good?

i have the dvd for this show and its really good, thou they scream too much .... wonder they get sore throat from all that screaming.

I loved the manga, its just so action packed. Ive also watched the anime up to the later episodes but I didnt like it as much cause it seemed a little toned down. Less violence made the fighting scenes in the anime seem less fierce. Still, the anime was good and entertaining and I just wished my friend would buy the last dvd so that I could see the end of the series. The story in the anime kinda branches off on a lot of areas and doesnt necessarily follow the manga.

I started on s-CRY-ed 2 days ago, I've watched 9 episodes so far and I'm really enjoying it. It's not a story I would tend to read in manga form, so I don't worry about whether the fighting is toned down!!
I rather like the concept of the Alters, at least it is slightly different to your average beat 'em up anime Very Happy

a so so anime that didn't have much of a story, they just start fighting for no reason?
