I was wondering, does true love exist out here in real life?

I have a boyfriend, but whether he is my "true love or not is debatable.

All in all, I think that the term "true love" only exists if YOU want it to. And if you believe in it.

In my religion, every person has their own muirn beatha dan or Soulmate. I think that this is basically the same as "true love".

As for me, I think that all love is true.

Why not. i mean it seems rather subjective but shoot i guess if you love somebody that is true love. i mean who can argue its not how do they know its not

first of all, it depends on your definiton of True Love... How do you define it?? Then think if it can be done realisticly (sp?) in life...

I only can give you the definition of love... it is understanding, and accepting your partner's strength and weakness as your own, and compromise it with your own strength and weakness... To be at your strongest, when he/she at his/her at her weakest, so you could be a pillar that he/she could find support in you...

look lke all is votin for yes, ya for me it is really exist... i belive in love, and i hope 1 day i would really find my truth love.... But i don't know about my friend that always talk about girl in class..... i doubt they will find truth love... i bet they will only go for the pretty 1.... anyway i really wish 1 day i will find my truth love...

I really think it's true. Some people may debate(not yet, but ya never know), but the fact is, no one can never predict anyone's feelings and though people claim that someone would never hurt the person they love(unfaithfulness, abusive, etc.), some people have different ways of showing love in my beliefs.

How did I know "only in anime" was going to be an option when I read this title of this poll? Laughing

Well, let me be the first to say NO, true love does not exist. I believe that the people you meet depends heavily on time and place, and these are variables that can't be controlled. People tend to be happy with what they have around them but who is to say, maybe someone in another city matches your personality perfectly?? and it's all because you did not have the opportunity to meet him/her.

Maybe true love does exist for a selected lucky ones that have the opportunity to meet their "other half" but I think the majority of us, we tend to settle with what we could have given the constraint of time and place.
