I was thinking more of a direct approach like putting yourself in the line to find (effort if you may called it that). But I guess this works too, so thanks The_underdog.

P.S. you're right about being panseys, maybe we should stop watching anime and reading manga (not to mention stop surfing the web), and try to get a real social life to gain experience... just kidding, we don't need to go that far.

well as many people said, it depends on your definition of true love. Maybe s/he's not your soul mate, but you still can feel true love toward him/her. If you feel butterflies in your stomach, if the word "I love you" is the best music you ever heard (I love that sentence), if you always think about what s/he's doing, if s/he's thinking about you, then, it's surely true love. If you're too uncomfortable with him, if you always wonder if he loves you back, then I don't think it's true love.
My definition of true love is when 2 people feel comfortable with eachother. When they don't hide anything. When they share their happiness and their sadness. When they always think of eachother. And if you're on the stage to make love, then, it's not only for sex you're doing it. That's true love for me. If you don't feel any of this in your relation, I think it means it's not true love...
I know of a girl who's now going out with the same guy for 3 years now. They really, really love eachother deeply. They are living true love! ^^ So yeah, I believe in it.

For me, true love is something really important.

True love is not the handsome guy you see near your lockear every school day. That you're always looking at him. Try to find moment to talk with him, to developp a "fast" friendship and then, be his girlfriend if he feels the same thing for you.

True love is someone that is firstly a near friend with who you feel confortable. Someone that doesn't judge you because of your appeareance or how you think... (whatever). Someone that loves for what your are in natural. Sex between two person must be a heavenly moment that we shouldn't consider it by saying: finish as fast as I can. To live untill you have wrinkles all over your face with someone in who you trust so much that you can't hide something to him.
