Anime-Source Synopsis & Reviews

I thought this first episode was a little funny and entertaining, but I still haven't decided whether or not I should follow this series. All I can say is don't expect much from this.

The main character (I think) Randou Rino has a strange relationship with her dummy. It seems to be her best friend and father figure. She's a ventriloquist so then she actually talks for it. It's rather amusing to see how they interact.

The one thing in this first episode that disappointed me was how Rino's dummy beat up the arsonist (antagonist of the first episode). I was hoping he would light Rino's puppet on fire or something, but it just didn't happen.

I agree, it's quite entertaining. Very Happy

Though it's probably shoujo anime, I can definitely appreciate it. I think it's cute and fun. Each character is unique, which adds points to my overall rating of the anime. Cool

I'm sort of afraid of the puppets though. They're way too weird. Very Happy

It sounds very interesting, I'm downloading it now. (Please don't make a comment about how I should be talking about the show and not downloading it, if you follow up with my post, you'll see I edit my opinion after watching it.)

EDIT: I just watched the 1st episode and though it was a little hilarious. Not drop-down on the kness hilarious, but just a little chuckle here and there.

it's about the "best" student council.... but that really doesn't tell me much about the plot.

so is the anime going to revolve around them making good decisions for their fellow students, lol? if that is the case it will be boring... but i doubt this is the case.

I kinda stopped watching the anime as soon as the dummy started talking...a really big turn off for me....guess I just knew that any joke coming out of his mouth would just irritate the heck out of me cuz I m not into puppets.

I watched this last night and it wasn't bad. It was amusing but stylewise, it isn't my kind of thing. I prefer the pretty anime. Razz

Although when the ending came up it was very pretty. I'm going to keep watching this just because I'm not exactly overwhelmed with fabulous anime at the moment.

First Impression - Episode 1:

While watching the first half of the show, I almost decided to give up on it. Nothing seemed to appeal to me and the puppet, Puuchan annoyed me at first. However by the time the second half was in full swing, I was laughing away. It has good humour, interesting characters and an over the top school. To spice things up there is a mysterious
Mr Poppit whom I think is actually Kanade as she is way too interested in Rino.

Rino seems to to have a split personality (?). On one side she is the meek and utterly blur and simple Rino and the other half is Puuchan himself who has a more aggresive behaviour. Wonder what caused this Puuchan to be. Also Puuchan seems to be very informed in things a schoolgirl like Rino does not seem to know. Oh yes and he knows kung-fu (well sort of...).

Questions abound as to the nature of the school (they have covert operations and an assult team!),the exact nature of Kanade relationship with Rino, the mystery of Mr. Poppit and Puuchan.

If you are looking for something funny and light with an all girl cast (mostly), why not give this a try out.

As an added bonus for me, Yukari Tamura is doing the voice of Rino.

I'll give it another episode to see if it gets more interesting. The puppet annoys me.

Maybe I'm crazy from the lack of better anime but I really enjoyed episode 3.

I just saw the first episode. It seems pretty good but I didn't find it funny. I'll take a look at the next few episodes and then I'll decide whether or not I'll continue watching it.

Rino is a pretty good ventriloquist if she can make the puppet talk when she's sleeping :]
