| Actually, for some odd reason, I had trouble stopping watching the show. Whether I liked it or hated it, it had incredible addiction factor. I watched the entire series in about 2 1/2 days. |

To be blunt I think Fushigi Yuugi is a piece of crap. I actually kept watching till the last few episodes, but I just couldn't bear it any more and trashed it.
Anyway, I don't feel like ranting about it again. If anybody cares my review with the rest of my opinion is in the database. _________________ Is that the best you can do, you pansies? |

It's my second favourite anime of all time and probably always will be!! I love every second of it, including ALL of the OVAs.
It probably has something to do with being a female and being a fan of angst ridden romance anime
I'm totally in love with Tamahome (my favourite anime guy of all time!), the music is wonderful, the characters are wonderful, the story is wonderful!! Yuu Watase is my favourite manga-ka and I love all of her stories. I have actually watched Fushigi Yuugi 6 times from beginning to end and can quite happily watch it again when the mood takes me. I am currently rereading the manga books as well. I guess you could call me a fan |

| I watched this series about 2 years ago, and it didn't seem as corny as it does now. It's still a pretty decent series though. GG. |

The story could have been better if the love story did not eat majority of the time. This is a piece of crap personally. character development is very poor. _________________

That's true.. As what I can say is that the OVA 1 was much better than the series.. I much go for the ova except for the last one..
I really hate the new maiden in this ova! i prefer miaka instead of that new girl!!! She's even taking away Tamahome.. But in the series I cried because my favorite character died! Hotohori why did you die!

Hmmmm....
I've watched Fushigi Yuugi from start to finish. I was kinda young back then, and it was by far a great anime compared to the ones it was released alongside with.
It was shown together with Ranma in my country. Then came Ayashino Ceres from the same creator.
I liked the plot, and felt sympathy towards some episodes... but thinking back now, it mgiht seem corny compared the the super anime released recently~ _________________ EX-mod |

i have finished watching this anime years past... and i might have forgotten most of it...
anyways.. back then.. when i was young and just newly immersing myself to the phenomenon that is anime well i was kinda drawn in by its type... since all of the recent ones i have watched at that time were the likes of dragon ball and yu yu hakusho were its mostly fighting and less lovey dovey drama...
looking at it now i would say it IS kinda corny and i don't think i will be able to watch it again... (but then again i almost never rewatch a series i have finished...) so erm yeah.. _________________
