Actually, there's something about asami's mum that I don't understand... why did she became stone or freeze several times throughout episode 23? _________________

The 1st time I didn't quite understand, I think it was because they went out on a picnic and she didn't want to go or something. The 2nd time was when she took all that yen out of that wishing well and Asami gave her a very wierd glare that the viewers were unlucky to not see. The other reasons were for the obvious reasons and the exact same time as all the rest of the crew.
Speaking of them, might I add that the entire train mix-up scene had me DYING LAUGHING! It was hilarious. _________________

Oh, I see...
Yup, plenty of humor scenes in this episode... I was surprised that Kouze didn't change personality when she got caught by shiratori... _________________

well the last 3 eps have been released, it was a really good series in my opinion and ended really well .
SPOILER (try not to read below, spoiler tags arnt working so text is white instead )
the only thing is that i think shiratori really should have been injured slightly, instead of just tripping over. Look what he did to Kozue!. Oh well its not a big thing really, like i aid the ending was perfect for heartful days

I like that the scene in Episode 25 between Tamami and Shiratori was done pretty much identical to the manga and still fit in with the different course the anime took from the manga (because the manga isn't even halfway done yet, there are a lot of things in the manga that happen past the anime's completion (and even then, the anime isn't completely true to the manga, although for the most part it comes close)).
One thing I would have liked seeing in the anime (and the relevant part of the anime hasn't been covered in the manga to my recollection) is
I would have liked to see Haibara/Johnny pull Tamami aside and explain to her that Shiratori was in Kozue's heart long before she even entered the picture - the anime strongly suggests (and the manga flat out confirms) that Kozue has loved Shiratori since they were kids and she's been waiting for him since that last time they saw each other at their grandfather's funeral. Shiratori's no Johnny-come-lately like you think he is, Tamami.
I know that she realises it for herself in the end, that she never was in the running, but I think she needs to know this isn't something that came out of nowhere the minute Shiratori arrived at Narutaiksou.

I love this series. Every episode was interesting and always gave me a warm feeling and usually made me smile. I love Asami and Sayoko. It was funny but kind of sad when Asami is shocked to see people drink no diluted juice.

bah! mahoraba's already done...I finally get to see the whole story in Shiratori's sketch work. And haibara didn't even talk! I was expecting him to talk at least once in the last episode though. but no luck.
sayoko's sure of the most funny charcter in it though...since she's so quiet all the time. _________________

I finally finished the series. And what a great ending. It was so sad it made me cry. I love this series but too bad its over. I expected Shiratori to wake up Kozue by a kiss not by a story.

I agree, I'm so sad it came to an ending but I just felt like they left us on a short end. Come on, this always happens with an anime, it just doesn't feel like an ending.
Any possible chance of a 2nd season? _________________

But anime is well-known for ending a series without a conclusion to romance of course. A second season of Mahoraba would be great but i don't see any plot available.

I doubt a second season would be possible at least until a lot more of the manga is released, and even then it's very questionable. As far as the story goes, I loved the anime, but personally I find the manga even better. The Umeboshi Hime Storybook is exclusive to the anime, Shiratori's quest to cure Kozue of her illness goes a markedly different way in the manga.
