well... running away, to me, is different than giving up...

giving up means, you are facing the cold hard truth that there is no more you can do to change a situation... you are facing the fact that there is all to it, no matter what you did, you just cant change it... in giving up, you are accepting the loss with head's held up high, accepting defeat with dignity, and try to get on with life

running away means, you cant accept the situation, and tried to get away far from it... this is what Rika did with Mayama, she was distancing herself from him, and Asai told us the reason behind this in the latest episode... she doesnt like it when she felt happiness with Mayama, hence trying to distance herself from it...

well that's my thoughts... I could be wrong about the third option, in fact I am wrong 90% of the time everytime i made an assumption... so dont believe me Laughing

that reminds me of what Shu-chan told Takemoto during that trip on the boat... he chose to not enter the ring, because he doesnt want to fight... but Shu-chan told him to at least try...

Damn episode 17 was beautifully heavy.. the story is just good... and teh reaction they gave off b4 the ed credits = priceless...

ok just watched ep 17

This time around, it is Takemoto with the quote of the day... "I feel like I am lost, now I know why... It was not because I didnt have a map, it is because I dont have a destination"

God I love this show... it made me laughed at all the jokes, but somehow I feel like I am learning something when I was watching this anime... And then the moment with Takemoto's family at the hospital... Kazuo's words really struck them both, mother and son...

I've been following only Solarfansubs so episode 16 for me.

I just love this show, perfect balance of comedy and drama.

Laughing my ass off in one scene then next its deadly serious that leaves you with something to think about.

What can I say? Awesome. This is one of the series on my 'to buy list' whenever it will get licensed and also the OST.

just saw the raw of episode of 18 and i have to write this
although i cant understand most of it (i guessed what they were saying)
i never laugh so hard for so long
the whole episode was making me laughing all the way

I finally caught up till ep 16. Can someone tell me what Shu-chan was refering to with the "third option" that he didin't tell Yamada??

From watching episode 18, I think I've never laughed so hard and it's good to see that Morita back. I loved the last few minutes of the show. I still chuckle thinking about it.

well if you read my opinion on the next post, you would see that i view "running away" and "giving up" differently... and i think "giving up" is much better of a choice than "running away"

ep 18... to put it simply, the funniest ep ever

Morita antics really cracks me up Laughing

it is like, he wreaks havoc whereever he goes!! however that is why he is loved by many though... as Shuu-chan would say "Receiving love from Morita is like a two-edged sword" He would make you worry, he would harass you and annoys you with his antics, HOWEVER he is very loyal, and also take good care of you...

I guess this is why Morita is loved by many... just be careful around him that's all :laugh:

Bummer, I really want Mayama and Yamada to be together. But things aren't going well after ep19. Damn... that Nomiya guy is smooth.

I was reminded once again, on why Morita is the best character around...

He practically stops Mayama from going after Yamada, and I think that is still the best option, since it is giving Yamada false hopes about him... he knew Yamada have no chance on him, and the care that he had been given to her is more "brotherly" rather than "couples"

and the character of the episode... Nomiya

Not a part among the 5 friends, his words are blunt, direct and straight to the point... Yamada couldnt even denied his reasoning, saying that she was using him to gain Mayama's attention... and in return it is his right to being selfish...

however his actions brings out more than what Shuu-chan could do... sometimes that what she needs i think

Wow never thought that Morita would be angry epi 20 and looks like there are a lot of happening to each character
