i think that this anime is jus for kids

the first few zoid series was whole lot better than this one, this one is drawn pretty bad and the cg suck too

Hmm, never knew they were making a new one. I can't wait to see it all, but do you know if it's gonna be played on Cartoon Network or YTV? I don't really wanna DL them because they're usually accompanied by viruses. Sad

Zoids was an awesome show that a love so ima guess that zoids genesis would be the same, but when i saw some pics of it everyone seemed chibi or childish i don't really like that kind of anime so id khow it's gonna be

I suppose it doesn't look too bad...The beginning was a little nice, since it ended with a cliffhanger rather than having the main character thrash the silver zoids immediately after getting the ML.

The OP wasn't half bad...Maybe I'll ignore all the stereotyping of Zoids series and catch up on this one if it turns out good.

I myself enjoyed Chaotic Century alot especialy when they got older (if anyone has a link to a torrent for that season please PM me).

Genesis is so far so good, I enjoyed the first episode and hope it gets better. The colours are a bit bright compared to Chaotic Century but it looks like there are a few funky zoid designs.

As for it being a show for kids, I agree. But I also feel that most main stream anime is for kids just some has a bit more swearing and fan service. Its not a bad thing especialy if you start watching the anime knowing what age group it is targeting. I know if I'm watching something like Zoids, Bleach or Naruto the the shows are aimed mostly at teens and thus wont have super deep character development or sex which is fine by me as I don't need that stuff all the time.

Episode 2 is out by the way...
Ruuji finally gets acquainted with the uber-cute girl and her grandfather. Is it just me, or do some names in the Zoids series always sound strange? Re Mii and Ra Kan...Hmm... Confused

And we have the 'current main villain' Zairi showing up soon enough, then we are left with a cliffhanger after another army of Bio Zoids charge down the village. Interesting? I'll bet. This anime is starting to show a little of its worth despite animation that looks a little old.

The summary for Zoids Genesis

Natural disasters have devastated planet Zi, killing off almost all life. A thousand years later humans have gradually re-established civilization, salvaging ancient Zoids through diving and mining efforts. In a village whose most previous item is a giant sword which they worship as a holy symbol. A teenage boy discovers an ancient Liger-type Zoid while on a deep water salvage operation. Suddenly the village is attacked by skeletal Bio-Zoids intent on stealing a powerful generator located in the village. Our teenage hero awakens the Liger and discovers that the town's sacred sword is the Liger's weapon, together they fight off the mysterious Bio-Zoids. At least for now...

The series has already been aired in Japan (presumably) up to episode 43 or 44 already...There are a few fansubbing groups doing it, and up to episode 5 so far.

Episode 3...
As usual, the animation's a little blocky, but I don't think it really marrs the anime too much. The story's coming along nicely, and the scenes with Ruuji and his family were decently done as well, neither too rushing or slow. Nothing too exciting here, except for the early Zoid battle, but at least we know for sure that one antagonist will be there to haunt the intrepid Ruuji: Zairin.

Hello!!! newbie here..... i just read other post.... this Zoids genesis is the fifth series, so what is the 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th series are????.... So far this series looks ok to me.... anyone can find the bittorrent link for Zoids Genesis episode 15 to 28.... I couln't find it.... Thanks
