sry just asking.
since howl's moving castle is related to spirited away. i wanted to know if there was a thread on howl's moving castle.
i think the movie came out later than in japan in my country, so i don't know whether it has been talked about. i just found some of the monsters in howl similar to those in spirited away... and i think both of them shows are oh-so-sweet. |

i can say that i have watched it a few times and it still doesnt bore me. But there is a part i still cant get it. How did chihiro knew that her parents was not among the pigs at the ending part? _________________

Skill... eheheh. I think it's some spiritual connection between parent and daughter... it's not supposed to make sense... like all the other crap in the movie. I love that crap. Inspires me to draw random crap and write unexplainable movies aswell.
I love this movie. It's so wholesome and fantasytastic... that was a crap combination of words, oh well. I swear... u can never get tired of this movie, just like tottoro and mononoke hime. The disney of japan... pfft, ghibli kicks the shit out of walt. Disney is too damn cheesy and steals i deas anyway. pfft. _________________ [IMG:630:120:ffc1e5676f]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v167/toolowhobo/parassig.gif[/img:ffc1e5676f] |

| Ah i found it okay, i suppose it was aimed at people a bit younger then me but since i watch alot of anime it wasnt that great, i guess i wouldve liked it better if i understood all the references to mythical characters it was nicely animated though |

i think it was her intuition........ well before that she once visited the place were her parents should be but she didnt find them.... maybe they were of a different color like more pink lol
anyway i think that was an intuition, imaybe she hoped that her parents would act diferently etc _________________ U r Happy Only In Ur Dreams, But Still Try 2 SMILE... |

Any other explanation. Intuition doesnt really kick in for me. I mean she is having to Choose between having her parents back and not seeing her parents for live. In situations like that usually one panics and then just for the heck of it maybe choose 2 pigs - if turns out to be wrong, bring back to cook "Char Siew". (*wink* you malaysians should know this, sorry if any malays read this*wink*).
Anyway, I still feel there is a logical explanation for this. _________________

I though Spirited away was great, reminded me of the first time I played Final Fantasy.
I was filled with wonderment and awe.
Can't say much about FF nowdays
But I def think Spirited away was one of those amazing works that only come once in a blue moon, the creatures and the characters were just so unique and amazing I kept watching it. |

I thought "spirited away" - "千と千尋の神隠し" was alright... I prefer "mononoke princess" - "もののけ姫"... and like the classic jiburi movies.. like "Nausica, the valley of the wind" - "風の谷のナウシカ" _________________
