Forgot the color of the hair of the girl, but the one with the rollerblades is the head cheerleader and the other one is the manager. Don't remember there being anymore girls in the show.
Anyway, serious spoiler going into the next few anime:
The cheerleader is the sister of someone that the Devil bats meet in America. The person will be another important part of the team as he play an all-rounder player that aids in switching tactics. This will be after a few more matches and a lot more episodes.
A even bigger badder spoiler, use your own discretion:
The team will lose the game versus the Knights and begin really really building the team for the Christmas Cup, which is supposedly at the next half of the year. This is what led to the above scenario.

Did u read the raw manga for that? which volume would that be? so far there isn't even a single cheerleader in the translated manga  |

| i wasn't sure i'd like this show at first, but after 2 eps it really grew on me ^_^ i sure am learning a lot about sports from anime o.o first tennis, then soccer, now football ^^; |

I've been practising drifting for 2 years now and still cant do some sh*t they do on the show.
anyway, back on topic. this series is finally starting to get into high gear, hopefully will finally see some good action. I just cant wait for the buddha team to show up.

whoaaa, you tried drifting for 2 years? where did u try it? in ure neighbourhood roads? highways? druring 3 in the morning? The road tracks in InitialD are so nice to race on, but looks freaknig dangerous. Quite difficult to find those kind of roads here.. unless its in the outskirts or outside the city. |

ID is waaaaaaaaaaay off topic and you should only really try and experiment with sliding your car in a parking lot otherwise you will regret it=P
I love Eyeshield so far i only saw the episode 1 but I am going to watch more! I couldnt help but laugh and smile when I saw they had NFL clips in the middle of the episode! I Love football! This will tide me over until the NFL begins! Go Giants! |

| Go Eyeshield 21! I bought the first volume of the manga at a bookstore, but i want to download some. I Private messagesed a dude who has the site, and waiting, but the anime has awesome animation, is funny, and has an interesting plot. Buti still wish death on Mamori, cause she underestimates Sena. |
