Buzzer Beater Synopsis & Reviews on Anime-Source
Cmon guys!! are there no sports anime fans out there? One of the best basketball animes besides Slam Dunk and there's no topic of this anime? Anyway, in terms of basketball animation, Buzzer Beater is definitely much better than Slam Dunk. The movements is more fluid and smooth, not to mention cool!! 
The story in this anime is much different than the manga though |

the basketball they're playing is absolute crap though
SPOILERS BELOW
the girl hits like 2 straight 3's for their team. okay, i can deal. they left her open and didn't bother to guard her. my problem is that she shoots a straight up, two handed set shot with a slow release and somehow the other team doesn't stick just ONE of their much taller players to guard her and shut her ass down. even if she got screens, she needs her feet set and her shot release is so slow that the defender has more than enough time to get back and pack her ass since she's so short. instead, somehow they manage to win on her like 10 straight 3s. bs. there is nobody who plays basketball at all seriously who would make a stupid ass mistake like that.
i find that it tends to be hard for me to watch sports series that depict play from sports that I have played and know quite a bit about. prince of tennis made me cringe, slam dunk made me shake my head in disgust, and the manga harlem beat started out well but got mighty stupid later with all the bs shots and massa's inability to miss. hajime no ippo, though, was very entertaining, as is eyeshield 21 (i know nothing about football or boxing). |

lol prince of tennis is entertaining though, but if you're talking about the tennis... lol full of illogical nonsensical lies, but its still interesting to watch  |

Well...
This anime reminds me of Space Jam plus the fact that Gyuma somewhat resembles Jordan(+ the horns and Golden skin).
As expected the game would be a bit unrealistic which will disappoint basketball critics, but then again Aliens are the opponents anyway. The way the camera angles move is a good thing and is fun to watch just for the heck of it... |

If you want to watch sport that logic..just watch sport channel.This is anime we talked about.The interesting part is how they put the illogical moves to the logical sense of explanation.Eheh..sometime make me laugh.That what i like about sports anime.
How about eye sheild 21.I like the mangga but Is the anime out yet? |

lol i prefer the Slam Dunk manga than the anime. They really dragged the anime for Slam Dunk too long. Geez man... 1 small match and they made it like what? 3 - 4 episodes? Blardy hell, most of the time during 1 episode the players were on the court thinking and talking to themselves instead of playing bball. |

yes Saizen seems very busy...
I've read the manga already and now currently following the anime eps.
Their fluid baske moves are amazing...
The point that keeps me watching are totally their baske games ^ ^ |
