Hey all, reason I am asking this is um...DUH Im a girl and I wanted to see if you guys are interested in shounen. I thought maybe a lot of the reviews and posts on great shows may be done by guys and though you say its great....us girls may not like it as much..

For the record, Im watching Chobits(2nd time), Air, DearS, .Hack Sign, Inuyasha. Ive seen Sailor moon, dragonball (all of em), ninja scroll, galaxy express 999, Love HIna, Fushigi Yugi and Ah My Goddess

I am trying to get...Fruits Basket, Elfin Lied, X, Tenchi Muyu, Bokusatsu, Mai Hime, School Rumble, Naruto, Mahou Senshi Negima, Ai Yori Aoshi and Rurouni Kenshin.....The ones I am downloading are based on the reviews I find on here so you can kinda understand why I am postin here

right now im watching the prince of tennis, naruto, school rumble, bleach and a whole bunch of other stuff.

i've finished watching samurai champloo, rurouni kenshin (very good... got me into samurai stuff), fruits basket, DN Angel, inuyasha, FLCL

i wanna watch more tsubasa reservoir chronicle, asagiri no miko and the 4rth inuyasha movie >.<

I'm a shoujo fan first but I enjoy a lot of shounen stuff as well!
The most recent anime I watched is Scryed, I loved every second of it and reviewed it here on AS and gave it a 10 out of 10 because it was so good! and yes I would recommend it to you.

Some other shounen anime I'd recommend to a fellow female fan are Hunter x Hunter, Saiyuki, Bleach, E's Otherwise, Get Backers, & the first half of Melody of Oblivion (the second half is too ecchi!!).
I usually go by how many bishounen there are in a show Wink

because if it's packed out with gorgeous guys, you can continue watching it just for that factor and then if it has a brilliant storyline as well, you're doubly rewarded!!

yes!! i would recomend all of the ones i'm currently watching.
however if your a chick who likes to have a little romance in watever they're watching i don't reccomend prince of tennis. but the rest should fine ^_^

I'm currently in the middle of watching Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost In the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ranma 1/2, and Love Hina.

One's I've finished include Sorcerer Hunters, Rurouni Kenshin (really big Kenshin fan...), Gravitation (really good if you're into shounen ai), Serial Experiments Lain, and FLCL...well, that's all I can really think of at the moment actually.

I like both genres...don't really have a favorite.
