How many eps does it take to glue or scare you off?

I don't focus on the impressions. I go by the reviews and every one was well on the mark. Except for X TV, that was the worst investment I've ever seen. Good story, but bad repetition and fight bits.

3~4 episodes for me...
hmmm well if it's like One Piece... then it's different
so is bleach~ the first few episodes ain't that great. . .
ok then i'll change that to 10 eps instead.

but it really depends on how long the overall anime series is. Surprised

It depends on the quality and interest of the story, but otherwise just one.
The english naruto for instance is just horrible and the one episode I watched made it clear that it wasn't worth watching again.

I actualy prefer an anime with many, many episodes because if it good then it will last a long time for example naruto inuyasha or rurouni kenshin

For me, it all depends on luck. To be honest, the manga/anime I'm reading/watching right now certainly wasn't that interesting for me in the first place. (I watched them when I was a kid). As I grew older and learned more from school, I figured out the jokes, emotions that the creators were trying to imply and it gets more interesting. For me if I get the show, then even after 100+ episodes, I'll keep following it through, but if I don't get it, and the creators really thought too deeply on it, I'll stop going with it after 10 minutes. That's just me. Don't know about others.

it only takes one episode to get me hooked. however, it takes a whole lot of crappy episodes for me to stop watching/collecting something. it took 12 for me to stop watching galaxy angel, and 24 for me to stop watching Weiss Kreuz. Sometimes I watch 5 bad episodes, then a good one comes along, so i keep watching, but more sucking follow, then another good one, so i get stuck like that. i never let one bad episode ruin things though.

it takes me a few eipsodes to get me hooked too XD naruto was boring in the first episode everything else was awesom

In the first 5 eps but I have watched complete series without even actually liking them just to pass time Smile

I haven't found a serie that I have hated, usually if I start a serie most of the time I watch all of it, sometimes in a few days when I get hooked and sometimes in few months cause I only watch when theres definately nothing else to do... Only series that I have started and not finished is dragon ball z I have watched around 100 eps and it's leading no where, but I had to watch some of it cause I mean it's a legend Razz

but now I have given up on it

All the animes I've seen I've loved by the 1st-2nd ep. Case Closed, Samuri Champloo, and Fooly Cooly are examples.
