I just dragged myself thru love hina, i guess i like a bit of fantasy in my stories...once I got to the Love HIna again OVA and noticewd the subtitles were in spanish I said screw it.. I understand enough japanese to get it but argh I just couldnt take it anymore.
I watched about 20 eps of Fushigi Yugi and kept hoping and that paid off!! |

It depends! Some anime is easy because I'm glued from the onset, others 2 or 3 sometimes I'm willing to give a show 5 or more episodes before I give up! I might even try a second viewing, as sometimes I might have been in the wrong mood for watching the first time around.
Rozen Maiden did nothing for me on the first or second episode but I was hooked by the third. Saiyuki Reload is boring the pants off of me so far, but I will get the next DVD to see if it improves (as I love the first series) but at £18 per disc (about $35) if the 2nd disc is rubbish as well, then I will give up!! |

| Usually around the 5-7 episode mark. However if a series is particularly uninteresting or pisses me off, I can drop it totally at any time. Sometimes I follow a bad series to the end just to complete a review of it ( it is a necessity to do so for a fair review ). |

just the first episode...
because the first shows allmost evertime whats the theme and where it is leading to....
sometimes the 1st episode can be really annoying(like mai-hime) but i can imagine that this series has a lot of potential with music, animation and of course setting.... |

I usually know on the first episode but if it doesn’t hook me right away I continue to about episode 5 or 7 depending on how bad it is. _________________ [img:458:108:d20f2bcdc4]http://server2.uploadit.org/files/Dan0989-Dan0989sig.JPG[/img:d20f2bcdc4]
