How many eps does it take to glue or scare you off?

Only 1 or 2... If I get a nice impression since the start, I will usually go on with it even the 3rd & 4th aren't as good. But in another meaning, if the 1st or 2nd ep upset me, I wouldn't feel like watch anymore of them even thought other keep saying that it is bloody good...

Usually 2-4 episodes... If the 1st 2 episodes is promising then I'll continue but after 4 episodes and it is still lame like Bleach I'll brush it off. Luckily after watching ep10++ then only i realise that the begining of Bleach really sux but it catches up later on... but still it is sux to me even until now accept for some minor improvement though...

Usually I can last up to the first four eps of any anime, but if it's really boring, like wolf's rain or gasaraki (IMO, people!!!!), or incredibly retarded like Koi Koi Seven with no redeeming features whatsoever, then I'll switch off at the first ep.

i'm the type of person that loses interest quickly....so if the first couple of episodes aren't that special...then well it's time to say "bye bye" to that anime. but if the 1st couple of episodes are interesting...than i'll usually stick around for the entire series even though the series might end up being a dissapointment. but there are exceptions to those animes that tend to get rather annoying..so i'll probably jsut end it there.

i usually dont watch anime if nobody recommends it... and if the anime that im about to start watching is a recommended one, i usually get glued onto it by the first ep poor me

usually the title says it all for me. that and the introduction song usually get me hooked.
i dont like to told what to watch.
often its about the first half of the first ep, sometimes around the first 2-4 eps.
with movies, its around the first 20-45 minutes.

i know what anime i wanna watch. i read reviews and stuff. so im pretty much set for what to watch.

Just 1. But then if I read a review or something then maybe I get influenced to go back and watch it or drop it. Sometimes it's a bandwagon thing with my friends though.

For me, I will watch till around half of the series before deciding whether to continue watching or watch it at later date. For me, I always watch everything that I download, but the good ones, I usually rewatched them

I think 4 is a good number.
First two episodes usually don't tell you enough about the development of characters and the third ep is when you see things get more interesting. If it can keep it good till the forth, I'm sold.
