I dun tink that Dynasty Warrior is recommended....way too easy le...the pronounciation of the heros' names sux...Cao Cao (Cow Cow), Cao Pi (Cow Pee)

Dynasty Warriors 3 was pretty fun, never played 4, and I have been trying to rent 5 but it has always been out. So I would say rent it first.

Well, to tell you the truth, The Three Kingdom story is best told by Dynasty Warrior 5. It is the game which depicted the nearest similarity with the story. If you want to read the real truth, read the encyclopedia.

I spend lots of time on it and it comes out that my save game files are missing. I'm so tired to catch all those rare items again T-T

something will happen if you played....
dw3 & extreme legends, dw4 w/o extreme , dw4 empires, dw 5...
youl find out that what you have collected so far.. is just useless .. a waste actually.. coz in a few years or later there will be a new dw.. yea ill buy that game.. but the prob is that items are so boring to get all over again...

I have played 2 previos DW games and it is addictive at the beginning. Then it gets boring after hours of punching/slashing/moshouing my way through thousandths of enemies /yawn. I doubt any DW games will differ.

I'm a big fan of the series as I can kill thousands of people without much problems. I still try and purchase each of the series anyway, despite there being little difference between each of the series. In the end, I never really liked the weapon system and the hero list at the very beginning in DW4. In no.5, there's no character generator, unlike in no.4, which's the only thing I liked in no.4.

well strike, the fun is in LEVELING the characters, not unlocking them.. if you wanted to unlock a char you could jsut go beat the mousu modes and tada, and besides..zuo ci isnt hard to unlock at all.
