THIS GAME TOTALLY rOCKS!!! ....fer da first 2 weeks..... afta dat it juz got tooo repetitive. its a ALMOST mindless hack n slash. but dun get me wrong! i luv game which giv juz pure dumb fun. its like, i can juz pick up the controller n put it down whenever i like. unlike some other types of games like RPG when i keep delayin sayin " i'll stop after the next save point". its nice n njoyable. its a nice feeling hat ur in ancient china killing ppl to make a difference!! ling tong is stroooong!! if u kno how to use his hcharge attacks.

I love the dynasty series, i have 4 and i was addicted to it! My only problems with it are the Horse fighting (it sucks and you fall off at one hit) also there were annoying glitches and the graphics could be better. other than that this game is mindless FUN

dynasty warriors is pure awsomeness, i only have 4 and 4 empires. i still need to get 5 T_T

I havent played it, but I heard that it is pretty much the same as all of the other dynasty warriors.

I would recommed Dynasty warriors 4 more than 5 cuz........:

1. You get bored of it after like a week or 2.
2. You can only train 1 Char. per story unlike #4 which u can make a char. and drag them to w/e
3. Can't last as long as #4
4. #4 is fun at the beginging middle and end unlike #5 it is only really fun at the begingining and afterwords its just not that good.

Good things about it

1.Real loads of fun
2.Cool weapons and smart bodyguards
3.Cool chara and story line
4. so much fun killing tons of ppl
5.way more combos than #4

so there u go, my opinon of Dyansty Warriros 5 and dynsaty warriors 4

Only game where I can kill thousands of people with little resistance. Great way to pass the time. Sun Shang Xiang rocks! =)

i dont know about those Dynasty Warrior series are like basically same. each of the new ones have a little bit of change but still basically the same. they are fun for about a week or two and after that i dont even look at it nemore Very Happy

dont buy it, its the same thing as #1 2 3 4,

story mode for every character? just go read the book and ull get the best story

I absolutely love the DW series. Only on hard though because all the other difficulty settings are too easy. It's a really good game to pass up time if you don't have anything else to do. Unfortunately I didn't get as far I would've liked in it (rented from Gamefly). I had it for like 2 months before I sent it back.

One of the biggest problems I have with them though is the damn enemy pop ups!! I can't stand that! And more specifically with 5 is the drop from like 4 bodyguards to only one. Mind you the bodyguard is actually pretty smart but I would've expected more security for a officer of their caliber.
