eps 1-20 just came in via bt and ep 1 has been watched. Liked what i've seen so far. Im having a bit of a hard time connecting mistuki's voice to her character as its a complete 180 from what a 12 girl would sound like in an anime, but dam, she has a great singing voice. _________________

She's not a voice seiyuu but a singer and so the voice acting is on an amateur level, but she can sing when it comes.
Also the spoiler about having throat cancer isn't really a spoiler since its like mentioned in the 1st or 2nd episode.
Having throat cancer might also change your voice eh? I never met anyone who had throat cancer so I wouldn't know.
But keep watching, one of the best anime series ever created by far. _________________

I have to agree with Kaiser, Full Moon wo Sagashite is probably the most liked anime series - I haven't heard many hard complaints on it. Each aspect (music, characters, etc...) is very very well done - everything sticks out.
To stay in topic, I was surprised about Mitsuki's voice when I first heard it, it's sort of like Luchia's voice from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch...but after a while you would get used to it - and why complain more once you hear her sing? (even though it's still kinda a manly-singing-from-the-nose type of singing) Anyways, once you see Mitsuki's strong-willed character, you would think that her voice fits her personality well. |

Can't say I give it quite the respect and admiration that others do... but it was a delightful watch. While I enjoyed it immensely, I can't really say that I would put it on nearly as high of a pedistal that others have been... _________________ You can't hold no groove if you ain't got no pocket. |

Actually Myco is doing more voice work nowadays. She did a role in Get Ride for example... But I guess FMwS was her debut which is why she was a bit rusty in the beginning (got much better later on though)
Anyway, this is definitely my favorite shoujo anime... And I'll leave it at that. |

Let's see... FMwS...
Decent series...
SPOILERS for some(weird... what happened to the spoiler tags?)
I was forced to watch a gloomy Korean Drama once (something about Blue and day or something), and as this show kept going, it reminded me more and more of that show, so honestly, I wasn't that impressed with the storyline. When I first described it to a friend (while I was watching it), they also connected it to a K-Drama, and it wasn't even the one I had thought of. However, the way that anime draws you into their world with its atmosphere and character development is something that is hard to match. But given that it's over 50 episodes long, it has no excuse to create that kind of a universe.
END SP
The voice acting for Mitsuki actually gets a lot better as the series goes on. She loses the gruff womanly voice and adopts the typical "whiny anime girl" voice. If that's your cup of tea... go for it. The series was a big surprise, since it looks so amazingly kiddy. Kind of makes me question who actually watched it... old housewives or elementary school girls? |

Hooray! A FMwS thread!!!
I watched it but I'm a 19 yr old college student. My little 8 year old cousin watched it though, so it should fill out your elementary school girl requirement =P.
Heheh. I loved this anime with a passion! myco gets better as the episode count gets higher. Eternal Snow still rox my sox! |

| its a well done anime and if you put your manhood away(what little you may have) its an amazing show. if you dont like it for what it is though your crazy. While some may critisize it for being for girls or young people, its got to be top five most dramatic animes out there so thats y you have to like it for what it is. |
