Woah, woah, reeder, settle done... nobody HAS to like an anime. It's a pretty good series, but top 5 dramatic?... I could rate several others above it. I would venture to put it in the top 10, but there are many that would disagree with me... between the long, drawn out storyline, and the rather extensive use of filler episodes that are completely without tension and merely there for comedic influence, there are many reasons why one would not regard this with quite the praise you have. Now before you go insulting one's "manhood" again, how about putting away a little bit of your own pride and looking at the show from someone elses perspective. There may not be much everyone is entitled to in this world, but we are ALL entitled to our opinion. "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." ... Bleh... i should have written that last one of mine a little better. heres a what was said/what was ment post here. I wanted only to say that most people ignore it for what it is (a drama anime) because it seemes too cute or childish. If you get past this you see that for breing a drama anime it does very well and its just so damn sad that i think it hits my top five for the drama catigory. I mean well |

I agree, the colour and animation of the series seems to be for girls or the younger ones, but the theme sure it a 360 turn. It's very dramatic and probably stimulates every emotion you may have.
Hey, it's probably like another Narutaru - looks like it's for kids but has a mysterious dark theme to it.. |

Ahhhh FULL MOON WO SAGASHITE
I'd say one of my top 3 FAVORITE animes. I mean what's there to say but WOW. Great music, Great characters, Great Story. VA is a little off but the singing is AWESOME. 52 episodes is a worthwhile download. Every guy should know that its hard for us to get emotional, but this show made me teary eyed... and i dont get teary eyed...FOR ANYTHING.. but.. this isnt for everyone.. especially if you dont like cutesy things or romances...if you are one of these types i wouldn't recommend it but still take a look at the first few episodes to see if you might be interested. I, Myself don't like these types of animes but after seeing the first 3 i downloaded the whole series and watched in within a week...(-.-*) yes i have no life lol. |

For now, you can do the bittorrent thing.
www.boxtorrents.com has the whole series up for grabs if you have a lot of time on your hands. If not, you can get it in smaller episode batches though good ol animesuki.com.
Maybe, just maybe...someone running this site can put the episodes up for direct download??? Mwahaha, wishful thinking... =P |

This is a pretty good anime and I like it well-enough. I'd recommend it, anyway.
The only thing that I have a problem with in this series are with some of the very obvious discrepencies as well as some of the implicit taboos that it's laced with. But then again, as obvious as they may be, I didn't really notice a lot of them until someone else pointed them out to me. I guess you really have to think about it or feel that nagging itch at the back of your mind when you know a certain "something" isn't adding up. But . . . *shrugs* |

Well I'm going to ask some spoiler now:
Sometimes anime and manga has different ending, since I haven't read the manga, Is there any difference between the ending of FMwS in manga and anime?
Thanks |

Hmm... I could have sworn I answered that exact question a while ago but I can't seem to find it...
Anyway,
Yes. The endings are completely different. The manga ending happens to be much happier (and cheesier) than the anime's ending though, even though the opposite applies for the rest of the material in both media

Nah, Narutaru actually WAS for adults. Despite the undertones, Fullmoon wo Sagashite was a Sunday morning anime aimed at young girls. _________________ Zannen, Canada - Your Canadian anime source. |

Thank you very much, Darkhunger!
Could you (or anybody) tell me a little bit more specific what happened in the end, just put it in spoiler box, it's ok for me since I won't be reading the manga anyway.
ThankZ! |

i jst did a mad day-long binge to the finish of this show last night, and i can honestly say it was one of the best decisions i ever made. this show is just that great. the ending was one of the most touching and fullfilling ends to any show/movie/watever i have ever seen. aside from jst being there =P, it leaves no question unanswered, no feeling unsaid. a perfect ending to the best romantic drama i have ever seen. _________________

I have to agree with Kaiser, Full Moon wo Sagashite is probably the most liked anime series - I haven't heard many hard complaints on it. Each aspect (music, characters, etc...) is very very well done - everything sticks out.
To stay in topic, I was surprised about Mitsuki's voice when I first heard it, it's sort of like Luchia's voice from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch...but after a while you would get used to it - and why complain more once you hear her sing? (even though it's still kinda a manly-singing-from-the-nose type of singing) Anyways, once you see Mitsuki's strong-willed character, you would think that her voice fits her personality well. |
