I think it doesn't suit Yakitate a romance... kai in love? he's a bit stupid... lol... the funniest thing on the manga is the reactions! XD

Love the manga. Some this is one of the mangas that don't get boring, except the reactions do get a bit too tiresome. For big reactions they take a long time to show it and explain the details and all. But either way, this is still a note worthy manga.

i got hooked onto this when i first started reading it...who knew that bread-making could be that interesting?? i was confused at the reactions at first tho (huh?? that couldn't have really happened....o wait...oooooo, kinda thing)...I think the romance thrown in for Kai was off-balance to the entire tourny, but the stuff going on now is interesting...

Romance? Well...not really.
It basically revolves around the world of bread making for the most part...it's just mainly a comedy filled, bread baking...type of manga.
At least...if there is romance in it, I've definately over looked it. >.<

So far there is only like one couple (if you can even call it that) in the manga...

Kai and Monica....I would consider them to be a couple (sort of) in the manga. But them being together is more used for comedy rather than romance in the manga (or that's just the way I see it anyways).

though i dont think yakitate is romantic.

No...it really isnt' very romantic...
If it was a romance type manga then I would take away from the whole Yakitate Japan feeling I think...

And they are cute aren't they? I love that part. Kai is so dense...but really. That's what makes them so cute together. ^_^

why did this manga become a lvl 4 from the couple chapters i read nothing was really bad enough to make it that high of a lvl so why the high lvl?
