It is not exactly that japanese people are the creators of manga and anime. It is just that manga is a substitute word for comics and anime for animated cartoons. But there are of course many differences between those. Manga and Anime specifcially refers to comics and animated catoons made by Japanese people. Also the ones they make are the most popular, best known and entertaining around the world. They have the best storylines, characters design, good looking styles, realistic, fiction, etc.
