i also will stick with raito..judging from his ability to predict and planning precisely...it's gona be hard for him to be busted by anybody..

maybe...but raito started out good. its true that if you stumle upon him now you might think him a psycopath, however in truth he was good and just changed along the way. i'm sure he did not plan this outcome from the beginning. its all the influance of the deathnote.
proof: when he lost his memory that was his character(and still is).
and if you think him cruel what about higuchi ? now that is a sick psyco

on another note (no pun intended)what about nia and mero, i think raito is in for trouble.

Raito!!! L was getting pretty annoying. He was only solving the whole thing almost as a hobby or a challenge, and had no motivation behind it except proving his self efficacy and esteem. Raito, on the other hand seems to have a strong motivation for justice...I don't know why he is like that, and I really think that the author should provide some kind of a reason for that. As for misamisa...err...she's doing it all from her own heart. Maybe if she dies Raito can realize something.

And I hope Nia won't be just another copy of Ruuzaki (not literally). They both have similiar idiosyncrasies, and I think I'm getting kind of sick of the boy-genuis thing. It seems really unrealistic to have a boy that young come up with all that information and even evidence. The FBI has really smart people, you know. You can't just boss them around while still being a little kid, not matter how smart you are. There are somethings about the world that you learn only from contact with people, and I'm sure Nia hasn't had much of that.

Also, Raito's personality is so much more cooler. He's so calculating and conniving, but unlike L, who is always calm, you definately get to see Raito's emotions of anger or frustration or of joy of victory. (the 'I won' was just, like, omg)

ya ya agree with you abbku... but about the emotion showing i think raito does not show his emotion of anger or fustration..... but i must say at 1st raito does have justice on his hand but now he is starting to killling inocent people to.... the people like FBI and the chief inspeaktor i being kill for his self reason....

well me voted for L...

...L refering to the foundation of orphans, not just ryuzaki or hideki or wat ever his REAL name was (i think that woulda been nice to know) raito's too disadvantaged, even tho he's rili smart and always planning ahead, i doubt he took L's comments about a group thing seriously (it would seem like it's aparentli true)

i dunno~ maybe i'm just desperate for L to come back~ (but the "2 page death tribute" has been given >.< ...) but after seeing the pilot episode i'm full of hope again =D there's stil a chance! L wasn't cremated! XD

(looking fwd to future appearances of L; either in flashbacks or just explaining how they came to be)
