Whose side are you on in Death Note?

i was supporting raito at the start but after he showd his true evilness i just couldnt keep supportin him

now i just hope they all die and i get the death note Twisted Evil

Well, I think that Raito will beat the crap out of anyone who comes near him with his nice, handy, little death note. What makes him so cool, though, is that he can do all of this without being caught... He is the smartest character in any anime I have seen, and thats what makes Death note such a great anime. I really hated the part where raito teemed up with L, but then it got good, and Its pretty good now. Although, not as good as in the beginning. Surprised

I disagree with raito being the smartest in the manga let alone ALL mangas. FIrst of all RAITO was given GOD LIKE POWERS, I mean seriously if you were given god like powers you wouldn't need alot of intelligence to destroy your enemies. RAito had the edge against L, even tho L is the smartest detective in the world. I believe that L is the smartest in the manga because he was able to keep on his feet to stay alive. If he would have slipped even once, hes a goner.

Obviously, my vote goes to L. Every mental battle that RAito had with L he lost. HE was frustrated, I remember it clearly. "THAT SON OF A BITCH"-raito. And I don't think Misa is hot or w.e you guys say she is. No offense but she seems gothic and I don't like gothic girls....there just scary with their love with suicide and shit. I was only reading this manga to see RAito/misa burn in hell. I hate idiotic girls like Misa who acts cute all the time. and RAito is the kind of guy that will do anything to be #1. If he was ACCIDENTALLy #2 in class or something he probably would find a way to kill the #1 guy. thats how I see them. Feel free to flame me Razz

Yea I do agree that Raito wasnt the smartest but still smart enough not to get figured out by L. Raito also had the advantage of having the note. Also you cant say he wasnt smart if he laid out a plan from when he buried the notebook to when he would get the other one. Also I guess ppl think misa is hot/cute becuz shes the only pretty or close to pretty girl you ever seen in the manga. Even though I think she is crazy to help Raito just becuz she loves him, and making the eye deal twice is just proving how crazy she is and Raito doesnt even care.

I was rootin for Raito at first becuz I thought he was the good guy for killin criminals but started rooting for L when Raito started killin innocent ppl. Now since L is dead I am rootin for N (Near) who is almost exactly like L o.O. I believe N will be the one to bring down Raito.

Definately L, I can't stand that Raito guy, who does he think he is, he might as well being the King of the Universe. At first I was totally think that Raito is right but after the FBI and fiancee thing I change my mind, that guy is an absolute psycho. It's kinda sad when I saw L die but I think he's gonna be revive somehow in the future. Sure Raito was smart or maybe the smartest in Death Note but I don't like him using his smartness for a dumbest thing. If he wipe out all the criminals the only left was him he's a criminal no matter how he reform a better world. I'm now support L.

i choose L for a few reason, the way he eat sweet a lot and the way he think are both funny and fascinating. he is able to outsmart kira. everyone would want to have his intelegence Very Happy

I'm rooting for Kira..why? becuase i want to see the action keep on going. i want to see how he outsmart all the other people that goes against him even in the tightest spot or when you think that they figure him out. Sure he killed inocent people. But if no one went against him do you think he would do that? im not saying he's good im just saying that the intention of using hte book at first was good, and i don't think he gave up on that idea yet.

He didn't lose everything against L. He outsmarted the cameras when L installed it in his room. With the hand motion which i think was very clever. He also tricked L into believing that he wasnt Kira.

I don't think he was smart at all. I thought it was really lame that he put a camera in a chip bag WHAT WASn't OPEN yet... I mean did he magically put the camera in there and then seal the bag again to open it again? and there was a piece the death note in the bag. How did it get there in the first place with the mini-t.v with the bag sealed? If he was to put the mini-t.v and the piece of deathnote when he was blocking the view of the cameras thats not considered smart, its considered depending on the death god to find out hte positioning of the cameras inorder to do it. I don't think thats smart at all. The only thing that I thought was smart was teh door thing, the lead breaking and the handle like 3 degrees off its normal spot. everything else he had to depend on ryuuuuk (w.e his name is, the death god) if it wasn't for the death god he wouldn't have been able to dodge all the view points of the camera.

Raito all the way. L is just too damn annoying to root for, I hope that he never comes back in the manga. His death scene was great but the way he died was too peaceful for a heart attack...at least have him spit out his real name before going into a painful spasm on the floor. Twisted Evil

Do you guys think that they would actually have little brats like Mello and Near kick the bucket? It'll be okay because that bastard kid farm will just introduce 'O' the world's smartest 5 yr old detective to take down Raito and his death note. Rolling Eyes
