Which Anime character do you sympathize with most?

I dont know if im wrong, but, was the topic which characther do we pity the most? I thought it was soemthing else, but got lost after reading all the posts.

I think the characther i empthatize the most with is Ashram from the RolW tv series. He`s a strong man who simply wishes for the best for his people, and despite being the "bad guy" he is simply figthing for what he thinks is rigth.

Setsuna of Angel Sanctuary, those horryfic visions, loves his sister (that has to put some presure on the guy) confused by powers he doest understand and the guy just doesnt have wat it takes to deal with this kind of things at least at the beginig of the story.

Rurouni Kenshin - Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal. Other than being attacked by a shark, it is the most depressing story one can have for a scar. Nah, scars from sharks are stupid - there is a sure fire way to avoid that bullet.

Any hot girls(good example Toujo,Naru) that end up with a totally not-good-looking dumb loser(good example Manaka,Keitaro)... That is such a tradegy and waste of their beautiful life... Crying or Very sad

I think Aya in Ayashino Ceres really can get a lot of symphathy. She is just being tested a lot of times: Sad ones.
