I actually finished this series today. I thought it was good, but not GREAT. I mean the ending was all touching and stuff, which is always nice (I've kind of been desensitized to sad character deaths though...sadly. Sigh), but there were too many standalone episodes. Azmaria was cute...AT FIRST. But her crying and voice and whatever was done so much, that it actually got overused and irritating. I still like her though.

(By the way, I've heard from a lot that the manga > anime...I'm curious to know how the manga ended, though. Can anyone fil me in?)

i'm also curious about the manga ending....but c the anime was made before the manga had a chance to finish.....so yea the manga isn't evne done yet!!! i think the last manga vol. is coming @ the end of feb. which i shall purchase cuz i'm curious~!

but yea i also enjoyed the ending...i thought it was spectacular...the only ending that i ever felt emotionally attached to~!

Hell yeah! the ending of this series was superbly done and toching, even though I already had it spoiled. *frowns at Kay*

I really didn't think that the rest of it was too great. It was certainly entertaining, interesting and fun, but it was kind of a bummer to never see Chrno's full potential. He had his very valid reasons not to go all out, but it would have been cool to see that and maybe it would have saved everyone quite a bit of trouble. Even in his kid form he didn't put a good fight even when he could.

And it sure sucks to be Remington. That guy truly got the short end of the stick. All of the others ended up happy, despite having some catches to their end. That even applies to Chrno and Rosette.

Well firstly, if you want a better storyline, READ THE MANGA. its better trust me = ) and the ending is pretty emotional and stuffs (i know people like that kinda stuff)

ooook the anime.... it was interesting..funny... especially episode 18 when Rosette and Chrno were dancing but the storyline wasn't very complete, and characters not fully exploited.

And i start to wonder... how does Aion have the magical power to brain wash people? maybe its like one of those powers that evil villans must have

Action is nice, but for Rosette, since shes restricted to guns which is PRETTY MUCH useless. is not very exciting

the art is pretty good, theres very little "lazy art" if you know what i mean.

Overall its average really. (oh heavens above i just felt like i've just written a review)

At first I completely loved this anime, but for some reason or another I lost some of my interest about half way through. I really cant explain it. For one I typically become even more interested at the mid point of a series, but not this time. Perhaps it was because I was reading the manga simultaneously and I saw everything that was left out of the anime. That may be part of it.

Overall though Chrno Crusade was a decent anime. The love story was touching, and the ending was touching and at the same time it left a horrible feeling with you.

It's so sad for Chrno and Rosetta. Plus we don't get to see what happened to that girl...the grey haired girl (forgot her name.) They should do a sequel about her or something.

Plus why didn't Chrno disintegrate like other demons? It was a pretty good anime if it weren't for the ending.

this anime was one of my favorites. i really liked the plot except for the ending which made me all teary but its still one of my fav.

The ending for the anime was great. It was sad without a doubt but for Chrno and Rosetta it was the correct ending, I don't think there was any other way for them to end it with such an impact.

I do however feel sorry for Remington and the jewel user (forgot her name). Would have like her to live and for him to not be so rag-tag.

Lol, I would have liked to see how Azmaria kicked ass.

CC still ranks aomg the top 10 for me, because nunz with gunz roxx! no really, it was a great series in my opinion. one of the very few animes that actually had me tearing up ( i got attached to the characters)
