I played the beta when it came out, and I was wondering if anyone was thinking about buying it. I was pretty interested, since it was a one time fee, and not monthly, but I dunno. it lacks a lot in something, but I can't quite place a hand on it.

good graphics, smooth animation, characters are sorta unique (once you get armor things), lots of enemies (and they can whoop your ass, especially those damn bosses)

anyone have opinions?

if your talking about the e3 for everyone beta, thats not at all whats the finished product is. That was a pre-beta hype up to get people to see the game for the first time. they still are gonna have a beta and there working on integrading in 10x more content. Itll be much more smooth and shiny when it comes out. Im very excited about this game and ive been following it loosly for a while.

yeah.. the demo started you off at lvl 15, and if I get my ass whooped that badly at that level.. ahaha. :p

I've talked to some other people and they're saying they'll buy, so I guess I'll just wait and see how they fare for a few weeks before I make my decision

yeah i played beta also... and was very impressed by it! loves it. once it comes out in february i'm definetly gonna buy it! maybe if some more ppl get the game in A-S we could all play together :3 ... yeah and monsters r hard too ... its either i suck bad or monsters r too good... cause i did this one quest, i got my ass whooped with some other ppl and we werent even at boss O-o! and 10x more contetn !! nice! man just writing about it makes me wanna play it! and do u guys know anything about it being sold in chapters? my freind told me that but im not too sure about it.

Guild Wars isn't really a MMO, it has the persistant world like one, but its more fast-paced and not as reliant on the community. I played the E3 for everyone event , and I am doing the beta events. It good fun and reminds me of a deeper version of Phantasy Star Online mixed with Diablo. And yeah, it would be cool to get together an Anime-Source guild or something.

....can't wait for next weekend for the next beta event =D.

Haven't tried the beta, but want to try the next one coming out in several days. Besides that, I want to buy it, just because it's free... I'm not a big commitment to MMORPG games when it requires monthly payment, since I'm kinda living on the edge right now. College student is hard to get by. Saving up money to buy Guild Wars.
Looks good too, the graphics. I think after a while, a lot of games seems to look very alike so it's hard to come out with new kinds of games... some really creative person will have to be born so new styles would come out. Until then, I'm up for devoting to play Guild Wars as my first Online RPG.

as far as I know they were some
pre-order came wif extra invitation key-gen
so we can invite 1 of our frens.
can't get the games here at South East Asia,
waitin for frens of mine at NY to ship it to me.
really LOVE the games after the beta.
