I would like to recommend that everyone watch the raws before they watch the actual show. You may miss out on a few things that happen, but being able to get the full effect of the visuals before having to take the time and read what's going on....that's priceless.
And.... From episode 15 raw
I may be getting ahead of myself, but the 'dragon' in episode 15 is truly priceless.
As is the addition, for those of you in the know, of Number X. I don't know if I like his voice actor just yet, and he's popping in way too early, by the manga's standards, but we've already discovered that they are doing a lot of cutting and pasting to make this show. They've done a good job of it, though.
And despite my pitiful knowledge of Japanese, I still enjoyed watching Sven try to keep Train unaware of the new bounty on Creed's head.
Please make a clear header on what are you spoiling at - bean
I'll keep that in mind. Thank you. ^^;; _________________ I don't stare Death in the face.

Yea i just started watching Black cat a couple weeks ago. But i have fallen in love with it. The vision is sooooooooo cool. I wish i had one, too bad it takes so much energy. Its confusing though, cus at one point he saw the future but it seemed like he slowed time with it too. Also at another point i think it spead up time. very confusing. Toaist are kinda cliche for bad guys though.

Well, if it were possible to find a good place to download the manga I would... Unfortunately I painstakenly did it before, only to have it erased. That same site, is alot harder to download from now and I don't feel like wasting that much time to get it.
So far I like it. Since I haven't seen the manga, I'm not sure of the gaps that were made. I'm happy with the way that the anime is, and it wouldn't be the first time I saw an anime changed a good bit from it's manga.
Episode 14
Well, chibi is always fun. The flashback into Train's childhood gives a bit of insight. We were already aware that his parents were killed, but I wasn't aware that the man who killed them trained him. It was a smart move on his account, training someone to kill you, it would breed a good assassin.
Having Kyouko around makes for a good laugh. It does seem kinda bad though.. She was giving SERIOUS thought to molesting child Train. It was a nice, funny episode so I enjoyed it alot. Can't wait for the next one.

Just watched episode 15 yesterday...and i have to admit, this is the wierdest series i've ever seen before....unlike other animes i can't guess what's gonna happen next.
Hmm...on episode 15:
Weirdness indeed, but at least they have picked up the pace for the story. It's almost painfully obvious to see that romance is not exactly one of this series' strong points, though...
Still, the episode was pretty funny, what with the introduction of River in a most unexpected manner and the gags with Train, Rinslet and the bearded one.
The series still doesn't strike me as being 'electrifying' or 'dynamic', though... _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]

Ok, I gotta ask: What about this series gave you the indication that it was made with romance in mind? Nothing I've seen or read gave me any kind of idea that they were aiming for that kind of audience. From my experience, romance is never a big aspect in most (if not all) non-ecchi shonen manga.
Also, just out of curiousity: Specifically what in this episode gave you the idea that romance isn't this series strong point? I'll watch through the episode again and see if I missed something but I can't remember any particular scene that they screwed up (unless you're stating that they didn't have any romance scenes at all and that they should have in which case, I'm going to have to question what you expected from this series).
Ok, really though, what romantic pairing is there in this series. None that I can think of readily now that Saya's dead (which I sorta have doubts of as well). Rinslet is into Jenos but apparently he's dead (I don't believe that either) so unless you're into yaoi (Creed-Train) or loli (Sven-Eve), there is no pairing which exists that you can judge this serie's romance factor on.

Kuro-sama~ <3
You forgot Kyoko. But, it's very unlikely that Train will fall for her... I remember in manga, Kyoko was much more scary than the one in anime. But I stopped reading the manga long time ago. _________________ [IMG:258:200]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v435/ypark/sigs/3fsn.png[/img]

Yep, I completely forgot about that (even after that whole episode devoted to Train-Kyoko aired just recently too ) Thanks for pointing that out.

The point should be made, that everyone in this show sucks at teamwork.
EP 15
I'm wondering about something here... Now... The picture that they show looks like a Komodo Dragon... It turned into a T-Rex. It's not real so I can let that go, but if I was any dumber (Which may not be possible) I would've been confused as all hell by that.
And off Train goes again to chase down Creed. By the looks of the preview, he's not gonna get far.

Reading through the posts, I've decided to watch black cat for th efirst time XD. Loved it from the start with Hana no Dia, that song was great for the anime imo, and the fight scenes (yeah i like action XD) where just amazing. I hope the story line dosent stray too far from whats been setup by the first 2 episodes now XD.
lol mugen no probs! the story just keeps getting better and better! and yesh i dunno if anyone pointed it out...but im sure ppl thought of it...this show relates to get backers LOL =P...and i love the chibi chars...its cute! kyoko....lol sucha funny ass girl...kuro-samaaaa and kills everyone...so cute
ITS A BIRD! ITS A PLANE! NO!! ITS BLACK CAT!!! wow... talk about speeding the story line at breakneck pace when compared to the manga... I just wonder if they are trying to finish Black Cat in the 26 Eps which are stuff from the manga and then filling the rest up to 52 with original story? Oh well, at this pace we all know it will end soon

Talk about misunderstanding...
Firstly, did I ever say that I wanted this series to be made with romance in mind? I was merely stating a fact, so don't put words into my mouth, thank you. I like the way my mouth works.
It's obvious, isn't it? There was hardly any development of pairings, except maybe for Rinslet and Jenos. Please...stop putting words into my mouth, alright? Did I ever say they screwed up? Then again, I'm not as clever as you as to assume-no, digress that others are talking about what I think about them, not what they say.
Exactly because there are hardly any pairings (except fan-based ones) that says that there is hardly a single inkling how good the 'romance' factor is in Black Cat. If there's nothing to judge, it literally means in the category of romance, Black Cat may well rate a 1/10 or 2/10(assuming that there is such a rating), which means it is bad enough. I did say 'not one of the strong points', so please read carefully before you bring forth the argument.
I may have wanted a little out of romance from Black Cat, (yeah, fan-based opinion, I admit. One or two subtle pairings at best), but considering how the anime has a largely different storyline, there could be a small possibility, couldn't it? Do they always make anime to be the same as the manga? Or have you heard of the word 'orginality', even if a little? _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97]
