Just finished watching the last episode....-_-' There were some things that I liked. But if you want to know what's incredibly wrong with the final episode read the spoiler.

I can deal with slight deviations from the manga... I can deal with a rushed plotline and a contrived "Eve/Adam" story...but I can't deal with a 60-yr old man wearing a golden suit that has super powers!! How did the anime company pull that one out of their ***?!?

Just finished 23.
It brought a tear to my eye, but I felt it was a little too rushed. If only they made it 24 episodes instead. I think it would have been a lot better.

Either way, this show certainly made it onto my favorites list.

i hope that there will be a second season because it was really good. They just didn't have to start another story arc as soon as one end.

I doubt there will be a second season. Often times, the reason behind a rushed ending like this (countless other animes) is that the show just wasn't selling on japanese television and funding/broadcasting support just fell short. So unless there's a later insurgence of popularity with DVD sales, the show will just fade into nothingness.

As much as you and I may have enjoyed the show, it's the sad truth; What's important is the shows popularity in Japan, not here in our little counter culture.

lol I think the anime was pretty good and tho i didnt read the manga it did seem to be very rushed near the end. im glad i didnt read the manga first because reading Gantz and then watching the anime was one of the worst anime experiences in my life lol so not seeing the differences in this was good for me.

yea it was a good anime although i no all of u know dis i also feel that the storyline was rushed and too many questions unanswered usually they do this as a risk whether their dropping or going 2 make a season 2 of this if the popularity goes up we can hope 4 a season 2 i'm hoping their would be cuz i love this anime:D
