sometime people say "Oh what the Hell.....he'll win eventually......" and "the drawing sucks, especially the ladies faces, yucks" .
But, they actually watch it....and chase after each episode. Kudos Isyuharu D. |

I actually partially agree about the drawing 
but then the story and graphics and art on the cars and animations on the race .. + great music is what kept us watching on from Season1 epi 1 till now. |

The drawings are ok, but I agreed, sometimes they screwed up the faces. Then I think in myself: "What the... happened with his face?!! So ugly!!" 
And yeah indeed, it's about the cars, races and the music who also attract me to see the anime  Who cares about the faces?

| is it really that good? i only read the manga of the FIRST stage. The drawings on the characters seemed kind of poor... thick eyebrows, fat lips... weird eyes... the cars were good but not the characters for sure |

| eh initial D is all about the cars anyways dun really care how the characters themselves look... as long as they don't mess up the cars, I'm satisfied |

Yeah, I'm agree with clychris. Actually the cars drawing is pretty good. Anyone that fond of cars can tell straight away what type of car is it.
Anyway, Init-D has been released up to chapter 10 (the translated one)

| can any1 tell why it takes hella long for them to release a single episode they like months apart or something. Does the animation take hella long to complete? jw of course I wonder if the arcade game will be on a console like ps2 or xbox. Does any1know where and how much a two player acrade of Initial D ver. 3 cost? |

it takes them that long because two episodes are released every two months on j-tv, as for the game go to the video game forum and there is a therad about initial d game, ask there

| If you guys like Initial D then maybe you will like the Live Action movie their making I presume its not out yet but it still looks coo. Check out the film webstie at http://hk.initialdthemovie.com/index_en.html Theirs a trailer, info and pictures of the actors playing the anime chars. After seeing the trailer can't wait. |

I think the real action movie won't be as good as the anime... I've heard rumors that the storyline in the movie is a little bit different than the anime, and other stuff... Honestly, I don't have high expectations of the movie.. We will see how "good" the movie will be  |
