Initial D stage 4....

initial d is getting annoying, they put in too much hype before the battle formula like DBZ which is really annoying and is a waste of download for me. im onli downloading just to see takumi use the wrx and see how he goes.

Well, it looks like episode 19 is out now (pretty fast) It's pretty good, but I can't help but wish they'd have done more to advance the story. Don't get me wrong, I feel they have made improvements since stage 1, but it seems like the relationships between the charecters haven't advanced. It seems like something more dramatic than, "oh he's fast" should happen.

Well if you're looking for any character developement then you're looking in the wrong place. The characters are not that well drawn and the personalities themselves arent that great either. But the racing is awsome. You just have to admire that kind of racing even if its exagerated. If you've ever driven a car you'd know how hard racing really is. I dont like how they release 2 eps every 2 months its been going on for too long. Episodes are too short and not enough is being done. I can pretty much tell what im gonna see and what their gonna wait till next episode so i dont get TOO dissappointed when it ends. blah.

this is not an anime about relationships, (though there are a few pasing through it) its an anime about racing ^____^

is it me or are they trying to strech out the battles more and more now?

edit: perhaps I didn't make it clear. When I said relationships I meant: " A particular type of connection existing between people related to or having dealings with each other". This is as opposed to: " A romantic or sexual involvement." Thanks answers.com

he'll probly race in the impreza, but it wont be for a while. That being said, I'm kinda sad that they used 2 eps to show only half a race.

I know that many wanted to see more action in initial d, but the anime summarizes the manga; the plot is already defined. Wink
