i downloaded CoM for free (kekekeke) and beat half of it,(its a bit wierd), but yeah it has alot of extra story line

you get to meet a person from sora and rikus past

cant wait for KH2, hopefully you can get some new playable characters like riku or mickey or maybe some ff characters Very Happy

oh man...I can't wait for KH2 to come out!!! I know they just recently decided it would definitely be a winter release, and my friend told me there was going to be a Pirates of the Caribbean world in it!

Has anyone heard anything about Oogie Boogie's Revenge? (I think that's what it's called)

so kindom hearts 2 coming out 2006....i like the first Kh very much,the characters were cool(especially goofy and donald) and even the story..aahhhh

Trust me quicksilver, you aren't alone in downloading. Me, I'll rather support the Kingdom Hearts related. I got a HUGE spoiler for you! If you don't want to be spoiled or practically know the ending of the story, don't read.

Riku and Sora never actually met Namine. She created that past for them so that they could fogrt Kairi. As the game develops, you'll realize the only thing Sora can remember is Kairi, where Namine tries to make sure that he'll forget Kairi by making fake memories of them two. Sora still feels that they are really friends, even though all their memories is fake.

The first Kingdom Hearts was a true breath of fresh air for its time. Back then, RPGs were falling into a rinse and repeat cycle. A lot of the titles (while still good mind you), were just too similar one to another. So then KH comes with its imaginative story, original gameplay, heavenly music, and practically revitalizes us.

I'll admit, at first, I had my doubts. I mean come now, if you heard that Disney of all people was collaborating with Square to make a game, wouldn't you hesitate? If it were3 anyone but Square, I'd have probably dismissed it (shame on me).

Even now, I can't get over how surreal the graphics were. Think of the 'massive' bosses like Cerberus and the Frost Giant. Heh, besides, when I heard that we'd be seeing old Square characters in there, I was sold immediately (Leon?? Confused

).

I must have nearly worked my hands to the bone to get the special trailer just to see a glimpse of KH2. Y'know, even though I was floored, it looked like they threw in a little Matrix in there. Bad joke, I know.

Rumers were running wild. It was even said that the disney element was removed from KH2, but that one was dispelled. But all agree that it'll be a little darker, more serious this time around.

Now, aboyt KH:CoM, well, I've had the ROM since forever, but never got round to playing it. Card games just aren't my thing. And now people are saying that you don't need it to complete the story gap between the two PS2 games (and this was the main reason for my getting it too). Be honest, is it really worth the time to finish it?

I'll revive this thread for the sake that no one seems to know what the search button is used for...

For all you fans out there, here's an update...

There's a Pirates of the Carribean world complete w/ Captain Jack Sparrow and all. The characters look VERY similar to their movie counterparts (well, as similar as a video game character can get to a real person).

Look for Kingdom Hearts 2 to pop up during the holiday season. Best time for them to release it in my opinion. But I'm guessing they'll give out some sort of release date in the next month or so.

They DID announce the Kingdom Hearts 2 theme song. The song is Passion and it's performed by none other than Utada Hikaru. NO, I don't have it, and NO I can't find it. I've already tried looking...

There you go, Kingdom Hearts 2 update. It's been a while... Hopefully people will follow suit...

I really wouldn't call any of my information spoilers seeing as Square-Enix publicly announced all this at E3, ComiCon and almost every other video game/anime/comic book convention since May. However, the Utada Hikaru info is relatively new (yet still publicly accessible if you go to her website).

Trust me, I know the concept of spoilers and if I felt that this information wouldn't actually benefit anyone, than I wouldn't have posted. I hope KH2 comes out during the holiday season b/c it'll be that much sooner. Geez how long has it been since the first? Too long, I just hope KH2 is as good as the first b/c that would make it all worth it. More story XD! Oh, and they need the Lion King in KH2 that would pwn.
