When you finish watching an anime you really, really liked?
It happens to me allllll the time, especially with romance-related-anime, regardless of the ending being sad or happy ( Aishiteruze baby left me just as gloomy as Cowboy Bebop did, for example.. )
Anyway, do you konw what i'm talking about, and do you have any good tips of how to avoid that feeling?
It's like an empty, gloomy feeling you get when something enjoying comes to an end. |

| find more anime to watch. Or go out with your friends and do something! ANYTHING! Eat. Watch a movie. Magic Mountain? Disneyland? Mall? Any of these things spark your interest? If not, then pick yourself up with Azumanga Daioh or Genshiken. Have a nice day. |

| I feel that all the time. Need more anime to watch. If I finished one series, I just start a new one. But sometimes I'll try to watch the old one again. |

| the best cure for that is to watch some more anime or just start a thread about that anime and discuss the anime with other people. |

i feel like that every single time i finish watching a serie. it's like... it's not suppose to end like this. it's not suppose to end period. the best thing to do is get new animes to watch (be prepared for more gloomy feeling ) or just watch your fav animes again (and again and again... more gloomy feeling ) _________________ [IMG:400:130:b3ae00b463]http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j33/rath_vermouth/rath-req2.jpg[/img:b3ae00b463] |

And I thought I only experienced that feeling. I always thought it was a good feeling, because I experience if right after a really really good series. (Kodomo no Omocha, Fruits Basket, Hunter x Hunter).
It's an odd feeling, it keeps me unmotivated. I mean, I didn't even feel like watching anime (and that's saying alot, since I LOVE anime). All I did do, however, was just write and write stories. Unfortunately, there seems to be no "cure" for this feeling. It's just time I think.
Hope you get over it soon Sepherz. |

The time I felt that way the strongest was after I watched Hana Yori Dango. I had enjoyed every single minute, the ending was phenominal and I felt bereft because there was no more
It is a very strange feeling and going straight onto another anime doesn't always work!!
jonoh83 summed it up the best. Telling other people about it, or maybe even writing a review helps enormously, it's almost like a continuation of the anime!! |

| ya.. i also have this kind of feeling.. but this helps us to watch more anime.. there's no cure for this .. i think. I sometimes rewatch the anime over and over again.. haha.. When i finish a anime , I will sit there and think about the anime for minutes.. hope that there will be OVA or 2nd series.. |

| It's sometimes good to let it sink in a bit as well before going straight into something else, since you're still attached to those characters and might not fully appreciate the next thing you start watching. |
