Sagara Sousuke, of course. The perfect example of a soldier...and one unable to fit into normal society, that is, not to mention hopelessly clueless yet somehow dependable at times. 
Kalinin comes a close second though, as does Kurz for me.

Sosuke of course. It is very rare for me to like any guy in any anime, but in FMP! not only do I like Sosuke, he is my favorite character. His stiff and insensitive appearance is just so alluring that its awesome. Plus deep inside he is just a softy anyways. ^_^
