I think this movie made some of my brain cells rupture. Anyways, the specials and what not that they've aired and Shown at J!F have had better plotlines than this. I could've done without the movie.

about time Gaara got the spotlight in a movie. he was probably the only char who deviated from the goody goody theme of the whole story =/

The second movie can't be as bad as the first one, so it should be better. Hopefully anyways, but since Gaara is in it, it should be good.

and i still managed to be dissapointed...

the final battle was a bit of an anti-climax but otherwise i think this film wasn't that bad. In terms of animations, I quite liked the almost fluid type animation, waaaaaaay better than the tv series and i was quite surprised at how many people you actually see die. The return of Gaara was a nice touch and Naruto wasn't as useless as he normally is in the tv series. IMO this film was better than the first.

THANK GOD!! this wasn't as dissapointing like the 1st movie. badass fights, but i thought they could've stuck some more fights in there and that the way they finished off the last guy, it was ok i was expecting naruto to do a double rasengan on his ass (like hit him at the same time with both rasengans but it was badass never the less

i thought the first movie was better animationwise/quality wise and better production value. the animation quality of the battle of sasuke and naruto arc of the tv was much better than some of the fight scenes here.

too much reliance on the cg on the 2nd movie.. cg not really blending well.. the story isnt interesting just seems like an annyoing filler episode,.. parts of animation are inconsistent. repeating many frames even cg..
the story as well has a lot of holes..

while the first movie was predictable(of course it was) it wasnt a mystery movie where you keep guessing anyhow.. what matters are the interactions of the characters, mainly naruto and the gang didnt know the details.. and thats the angle u wtach it from.. how they manage to go about the situation, and not for the viewer to figure out what was obvious.

first movie may not be that good, but it is far better than this imo.

the animation for the characters looks akward and totally different than the usual naruto series....
some of the movement style seems to be taken from samurai champloo..
i missed the times where the animation is like from naruto episode 1-100, now everything seems to go downhill

... it was ok. i mean i like it fine and all, but theres so many plot holes and some random crap that happens that makes no sense at all

btw, it was like... movie, movie, movie, SASUKE!!! movie, movie.....

truly a WTF moment

This was some nice brainless fun. Kinda like watching Ultraviolet.

One thing that struck me was how much this movie reminding me of Ghibli. Not in terms of writing quality or art skill, OH LORD NO, but there was definately a Ghibli-esque atmosphere to it all. Maybe it's all in my head...

its true the characters looked different a little more realistic and i guess u plp actually care about the storyline of a naruto movie well w/e the action was good enough imo.

My question is, why was the Wind Country even attacked in the first place? Was it just to ensure the appearances of Kankurou and Gaara? If those two guys were there, where the heck was Temari? With Shikamaru present, as well as the other Sand shinobi, it would have made sense to include Temari.
