i downloaded the anime and i could not stop watching id see like 8 episodes and force myself to stop every time, of course i went against it by going back in an hour to see some more.

I just finished the anime just a second a ago, and I must say this is a great anime. Funny too sometimes, especially in episode 51 for what Takamaru did to Ippo. Very Happy

ive seen 2 trailers of the anime and ive been wanting to see it but i cant downloadem caz they're all torrents..sigh

Hajime no Ippo is one of the best series ever. It certainly does have a unique character model different from the other ones.

yeah it goes for a while after the anime, but ippo is definately one of my favorite animes. For all you ippo fans you should watch slam dunk. It's pretty good, not as good but pretty good. It also cuts off, but oh well. Yeah it definately sucks that ippo is so high up. Oh well souhaku.free.fr/ has it when they have the servers working... Not sure if it has as many chapers/volumes as here though.

well now they're translating (ignition) a chapter a day. and for now there's 76? volumes? im not sure but close to that.

Ippo's spirit sure is amazing. But i find that the other boxer's usually have a better reason to win than ippo's 'I want to find out what true strength is'
Like the wolfguy had his mother, the flicker ugly guy had his sister, and sendo had his fans and kids and w/e that look up to him. I also really love the amount of faith ippo has in his coach. That coach must be so damn proud

I agree that this is one of the best animes ive ever seen if not the best but does it bother anybody else that
he has to get the crap beat out of him every fight before he can comeback and win, its just that he should be able to beat up somebody without getting so hurt. I know that its to show his fighting spirit but come on every fight?
