Tough to choose, but if I could only pick one, it would be either Athrun or Lacus from SEED/Destiny.

My all-time favorite Gundam character is Bright Noa !

He's very cool and reserved as a captain. cooler than any captain I've seen in Gundam universe. His relationships with Judau was very interesting. I'd someday love to see his relationship with Amuro with my own eyes.

Remember that Noa ordered that the engine section of fortress in a ZZ gundam episode? But there were a colony of civilians on the Axis fortress. Judau warned Noa about the civilians and even got in the way of the Argama's laser cannon-like weapon. But Noa apprised him that he is already fully aware of that but he said that he has to do it in order to end the war and win peace and had executed his orders on the destruction of the enemy fortress in spite of Judau's objections. Like any soldier, he understands sometimes that sacrifices must be made in order to achieve goals. He knows that civilians would die but he realizes that it cannot be helped.

The ends justify the means.

He's willing to make decisions, take responsibility and be prepared for the consequences. He acted in an usually professional way. He hardly tolerates rule-breakers, especially children although he understands their actions. However, he takes matters seriously and disciplines troublemakers when necessary. For example, Noa slapped his son Hathaway for being reckless in Char's Counterattack. Way to go, Bright. He also had Judau and his other buddies isolated in a cell to discipline them.

I wanted to see more of his characterization in the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

man theres so many good characters. Me, ima big gundam wing fan and i always like Wu Fei, because if he was so strong in his own beliefs and wasnt just a tool for the colonies..Also he could actually fight outside of his gundam. Another reason i liked him is he was the only character that actually looked the ethnicity they made him....heero was cool too
