Enders Game was truly a magnificent read! I just picked it up spontaneously. Mind you, I'm not really interested in the whole futuristic, science-fiction type of series, but I really enjoyed the read. I only read one of the books. I honestly didn't know that there was a whole series! Now I'm getting excited.
For some reason, I kept picturing Valentine as Winry from Full Metal Alchemist...*shrugs* don't know why.
wow, 7 books in 1 week, that's practically a book a day (go vietfool!). I did that with the Harry Potter series. Ah~ Harry Potter wa daiiiiiisuke! |

Never heard of it. I saw that everybody said it was good. Who's the author? _________________ Life is what you make it to be, not what it makes you to be. |

| I thought that Ender's Game was pretty good. Has a very unique story line that keeps you reading. I've read the rest of the series and the one's about Bean except the most recent one. |

| I read this book a few years ago and loved it. I also read the books that IIRC are titled Speaker for the Dead and Xenocide. |

| I know of the series but I've only read Bean's story of how he was found and then sent into space and I loved it. I do plan on reading the others so I glad they're getting good reviews. |

Enders Games... well i wouldn't go that far to call it "good" but it wasn't that bad also. I like I.Asimov (prolly u know him by the movie "I. Robot" but his "Foundation" series are the best), R.Bradbury, I.M.Banks, Strugatski brothers. I recommend you to read those writers (they are the cream of scifi)
PS: Mikhail Bulgakov's fantasy "The Master and Margarita" <- this is one my fav. books |

I have, and it was awesome. Orson Scott Card has an incredible talent for writing science fiction. All of his books have very unique and incredible stories to them. _________________ [IMG:500:100:5f9d323c6a]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v439/spender/Witchbladebanner3.jpg[/img:5f9d323c6a]

I've only read Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow so far, I haven't been able to read into the others. But from what my friends tell me, the rest of the series is amazing as well.
And from my personal opinion of what I've seen, I recommend that anyone who reads this at least goes and picks up a copy of both books. They are incredible reads, as all the people before me said. I'm only adding to their praise of Mr. Card. XD _________________ "It is not fair for me to be the only innocent one." ~Citan, Xenogears. |

| I was impressed with the philosophy of the book, of how well Card was able to illustrate so many complex ideas into the stories. They make good food for thought if you haven't thought of them for yourself already, and the books make great reference if you have thought of the ideas and philosophies but never really knew how to describe or explain them for yourself. Other than that, I found the books themselves boring and the stories unbelievable, even with how well-thought out they were, but the unbelievable parts fit well into the science fiction genre since anything goes in science fiction anyway. |

I really enjoyed the book, but I'm a bit afraid of what the movie might end up like. Of course we have really good cg that could work with the story, but some of the complex ideals expressed in the book might not translate that well in a movie. _________________ PM some funny pick-up lines please > |
