Ps3 vs. Xbox 360

I am banking on my roomate to get Ps3, which yes that is the better system IMO (the pictures of the formula 1 game drove me nuts it looks like i was watchign F1 on tv!) so I will probably get XBOX for games like DOA

Isn't PS3 coming out 3rd quater of 2006? But personally i think PS3 will rock! mainly because it offers more games than Xbox. And to those who are wating for Halo3, isn't better or more fun to play it on the PC, i mean, come on! you get to move more easily and aim at the same time, unlike doing it on a gamepad. right? right?

Right. First person shooters are much easier on a computer than on any console.

Well im first gona buy N-Revolution cause of Super Smash Brothers Online then I say a PS3 for more RPG

Sure both are fantastic!!

I choose PS3 for this reason:

- Don´t like B.Gates monopoly
- Don´t like how Mr Gates do some things: Xbox.. lets buy exclusive licenses... let´s make a DVD console that cant play DVD films (Ok can if you pay a plus)... lets sell this console in Europe twice the price that the competitor and a few months later, half the price Shocked

- They are not in sale yet and there is someones in Microsoft arguing Xbox 360 its better console!. You´re right, better tecnical specifications but the true points is which one has the better games? which one is more popular (has more sales)?, and more games?

Those at M$ are comparing the Xbox 360 to the PS2 because its got better specs than the PS2 but not the PS3. In sheer power, the Xbox loses. in games, the Xbox will probably lose. Xbox 360 will be the Dreamcast of 2005.

I don't really care which company is a monopolizing tycoon.
People say B.Gates is monopolizing stuff BUT you see the problem here Sony did the same thing to SEGA's Dreamcast.
Now XBox 360 will do the same to PS3, its like karma.

Xbox comes out sooner and with XBL right out of the box, it now has Square and could probably take EA games.

The only good Final Fantansies were the one with Magicite and Materia.

I haven't heard much from PS3 yet because its coming out of 2K6. So far they've made a whole bunch of simulated PS3's but no PS3! I really can't say anything is better than something that really doesn't seem to exist yet.

actually the only game Square Enix plans on making for the Xbox 360 is FFXI with slightly updated graphics and the use of XBL.
one thing I like about the Xbox 360 is that XBL will be free this time around, but I think game companies will tack on a few fees to play their games.

Of course I don´t doubt of the quality of Microsoft product... sure Xbox 360 is fantastic. All I say, at least what I have read in the press here in Europe, is that seems that sometimes they dont fair play, as for example in the Netscape vs IExplorer battle.
Also read, time before Xbox release, that was very strange that if the xbox machine has a DVD laser lector ¿why couldn´t it read films DVD? ¿Maybe they make it with the intention of force the user to buy another complement? And what happen before Xbox release: they began to buy companys, talonary hit, to stop PS2 games in process and make them Xbox exclusive. Yeah I know, business is business, but never any console hardware company had made this before... (example Abe´s odyssey, Halo (pc one year later)). And the last one was that release price in Europe for the Xbox was over 300 $, just for a few months when it dropped to 150 $... Dont would you feel as an idiot if were one of these poor guys paying twice for the same?
Sure than they became with the lesson learned with the new one, but I prefer to wait "by the flies"
And the same thing think of SEGA. They hang up users twice, first with the Saturn and after that with the Dreamcast. Do you think I will buy a new SEGA console although everybody says me it is fantastic?
